Ezra’s POV
For the first time in days, I felt like we were finally getting somewhere, not because we had cleared Liora's name, not yet, but because we finally had something more than suspicion. The photographs Gina took proved that Mina and Jake were meeting in secret. On their own, the pictures were not enough to expose everything they had done, but they were enough to show that neither of them had been honest and after everything that had happened, that mattered.
The next morning, I arrived at the office earlier than usual. I barely made it through the front doors before Robert appeared beside me carrying two coffees. "You look like you haven't slept."
"I haven't."
"I figured."
He handed me one of the coffees and I accepted it without complaint. "Any updates?"
"Not yet."
