Liora’s POV I dressed slowly, more slowly than I needed to, as if buying myself time to breathe. The room was quiet, too quiet, and the silence felt heavier than before. Gina was still out with Robert, laughing somewhere under the warm evening sky, completely unaware of how my chest was still pounding from everything that had happened in Ezra’s room.
