Elliot Pryce was the CEO of Pryce law firm..tall,handsome,muscular and hot..he was every woman’s dream but he didn’t want any woman he preferred to be married to his work..even after the so many push from his mum he refused to get a wife in his own opinion he prefers to be single and not tied down.. Elliot’s Pov It’s Monday morning ..I can here the pitter patter of the rain outside while I get ready for work,why does it have to choose today of all days to rain..I’ve got a very important meeting with some clients,I hate rainy days..now I have to go hear mums talks about how I should stay home and rest anyways I tie my shoelace pick up my suitcase and head downstairs as quietly as possible I see mum at the dinning sipping what I guess to be tea and try to walk past her silently..Mary our maid looks up and tries to say something when I give her a very cold look that makes her swallow instantly..“you dare not say a word ” I mouth to her and start moving so mom doesn’t see me.. I was just about to open the door when I hear my mom’s sweet voice “good morning Ellie,I’m hoping you slept well” I turn abruptly and give her a forced smile “morning mom” I say through clinched teeth “where are you heading off to so early this fine morning ” mom says with a stylish smile “haha mom, not funny ” you didn’t tell me it’s avoid your family day” mom says with a not so happy look on her face which make me take a few step closer to the dinning area “I’m sorry mommy , I have a very important business meeting today and I didn’t want you to stop me from going cause of the downpour” I say with a slight pout “and so you decide to sneak out..woww,I mean wowww..my own son is running away from me,what has my life become” mom says as she tries to get up.. I run over to her and goes to lift her up when she swats my hand away like I was a mosquito “tarhh..don’t touch me !! ” “Common mom, my offense isn’t that great” “so you think” she says and I watch Mary run from the kitchen to come help lift her up “thank you Mary ” mom says as she steadies herself ,I stand still as I watch her head to the sitting room and pick up the remote control, she turns on the tele and sits down “ mom ” I coo “ what do you need ” she says in a playfully stern voice, “ I know I’ve messed up big time but I promise I’ll make it up to you..” “ hmmm..and how would you do that” she says quite playfully , frankly speaking I didn’t know how I’d do that but I didn’t dare say that. I didn’t want her to get mad again “ Uhhm, how about I come back home early and uhh treat you to dinner ” I say quite unsure “ hmmm..alright, but I get to choose the restaurant ” “ yes mom..you can do just that” I say with a slight chuckle “yippee, now hurry along you’ve got to be fast or you’ll be late for work” she said while laughing,classic mom. I pick up my suitcase and go give mom a quick hug “see you later mom” I say as I open the door and head outside where I see David already in the car waiting
