Lunas point of view Hi im Luna, i go to rosewood high and graduate this year. Finally ill be out of this godforsaken place. I have no plans for after highschool but im hoping i get a sign. My 18th birthday is next weekend. A whole damn week of waiting, but im looking forward to it i have a feeling this years going to be a great birthday. I hope i get my wolf like everyone else in purple crescent moon, thats the name of the pack im in. We rank in fourth of the ranks. Which is pretty good considering we were at the very bottom 2 years ago but after my father and the alpha defeated the rogue alpha we became fourth make us a very strong pack and have an ally with the number one ranks pack, silver moon pack. Im best friends with the alphas daughter and have a big crush on the alphas son. I dont want to date him though because im waiting for my mate. Its three days before my birthday. lunas pov Luna time to get up as i hear my mother say. “Ill be right down” i reply. Thats when my older brother comes barging in my room saying ill be late for school if i dont hurry. “Okay Lucas, im coming!” I bark are i him. Im in the lowest ranking of the training which sucks because most of the kids i got to school with got their wolves when they were 16, so i have a dormant wolf and not sure why i havent gotten my wolf yet. But i uave my brother and the alphas daughter of the silver moon pack to protect me. “Is charlie going to be coming over today?” My brother asks. “ i dont know i will talk to her when we get to school, now get out so i can get ready!” I growl at my brother. He finally leave and i hop in the shower letting the hot water run down my back. My long dark brown hair clings to me as the water drips off of me. I get out of the shower and start getting ready. I look at myself in my bright blueish grean eye Pierce through the make up i have chosen for today, a light brown smokey eye with black i liner and mascara. I never but too much make up on. Im not pretty i know that but everyone isalways telling me how gorgeous i am and how jealous they are of my looks. The alphas daughter has even expressed her jealousy but is never rude about it. Lucas’ pov Im waiting by the front door for my sister to come down. My hair is messy and the golden locks are draping into my eyes hiding my baby blue coloured eyes. We all know the shes adopted but my father, mother and i have never treated her any different. Some of the kids at school bully her because of it but since my gaining muscles and the alphas daughter of silver moon around she has nothing to worry about. I always have girls trying to get to me but i ignore them because they are the ones that bully my sister. Luna is the most big hearted person i know and just because her wolf is dormant doesnt make her weak it has actually pushed her to be top of the lowest ranking training. “Come on Luna we are going to be late!” I bark at her. “Im on my way down right now!” She barks back. Just as i look up i see her coming down the stairs. She look beautiful in her royal purple summer dress. Her hair was straightened, i don’t understand why her natural hair is beautiful. Her graduation was beautiful. Mom of course cried like a big baby and dad had tears in his eyes make so lame excuse as to why his eyes were watery but we all know he was just proud of his baby girl. Lunas pov We get into Lucas’ car and head off to school. Hes super popular as well as charlie, but me im not as popular. Yeah i get to sit with them because of her and my brother but nobody wants me around. We pull up to the school and i can already see charlies eyes light up as she sees me get out of the car and comes running up to me and goves me the biggest hug! “Okay charlie it was only 12 hours since we saw eachother last” i laugh as i hug her back. “I dont care 12 hours is way to long, you k ow i see you as a sister!” She whines. I just shake my head as we walk into the school. Our lockers are right beside one another. We also have all the same classes thank to Alpha Percy, Charlie’s dad. Her mom Luna Caroline is also the reason why charlie and i are best friends not the whole reasin but part of it. Charlie wanted to befriend me the first day she met me but didnt want to because she thought she would bring shame to her family but once Luna Caroline talked to her saying she wouldnt, we became glued to the hip. Charlies pov I see Luna and Lucas pulling in his deep blue SUV and my face lights up as Luna gets out i run up to her and gove her the biggest squeezh hug i could muster. I know its only been like 12 hours since ive seen her, but still shes like a sister to me and i missed her those 12 hours. I am just glad my mom talked to me saying i wouldnt bring shame to our family by befriending her. It was such a relief to know both of my parents accepted her and k owing shes got a crush on my brother makes it more fun to bring her around because i tease her about it all the time. Her father Black and my father Alpha Percy became close friends when they defeated the alpha rogue together which made Lunas alpha, Alpha Brandon make an ally with my father. Anyways back to the present Luna and i are on our way to our lockers when Lucas says he will catch up with us later. We wave good bye and head to our lockers opening them up. I feel bad for Luna because she has a dormant wolf which is very rare now a days i got my wolf at sixteen whats even worse is we share the same birthday. Lucas is a years older then us and we usually graduate at 18 but Lucas ended up failing one of his classes and had to come back but on the plus side lucas gets to graduate with his sister although he wasnt called up on stage at the graduation ceremony his is still graduating this year and today is friday and our last day of school then comes sunday our birthday. Lunas Pov Before i know it its already sunday the weekend just flew by. Im currently getting ready for my birthday party at the sliver moon pack, because Charlie and i decided to have another birthday party this year its currently 5am and i still havent heard anything from my wolf and truth be told i wasnt surprised. I walk out of the bathroom when all of a sudden a huge wave of pain flashes through me. I scream and hit the floor and can barely understand whats going on around me. I know charlie has called her mom and dad to her room when i feel the pain again. I whimper in pain it last for about 1 minute. Well felt like one minute but in all reality it was like 2 seconds. When the pain is gone i look up to see all three of their faces pale as can be like the saw a ghost or something. When i try to speak all i hear is growling. When i see the fear on their faces i whimper and lay down realizing i had just shifted, letting them know i meant no harm. Charlie is the first to speak, “Oh my goddess Luna your wolf is absolutely stunning.” I look at her in confusion. “Oh honey look at you. Just as beautiful as your human form”. Luna Caroline says. Alpha Percy doesnt say anything and just motions me to get up and follow him. So i do and when we stop im in aweh from what i see. I look as myself in the mirror. Fur the clolour of freshly laid snow and eyes are still the piercing blueish green colour. In that moment i felt beautiful. My wolf is huge bigger then an alphas.
