Chapter 7

4023 Words
Lilith's POV A few hours passed and I started getting ready for the ball. I didn't want to go. William scares me enough as is, and if he finds out that I'm the daughter of a high priestess, he will k*ll me. I'm not ready to die. I'm too young. I still have my whole life ahead of me. I looked down at the beautiful dress that was left for me. It was a black mermaid shape dress. There were slits on the sides, the v-neck was very low, so my cleavage would show more than I'd like. I held the dress up to look at it more clearly before getting dressed. I'm surprised that I didn't have to get ready at the office. I didn't have the energy and Juliet was probably going to be there as well. I didn't want her to sink her fangs into me again. I put the dress on. It hugged my waist perfectly, showing off my features. The v-neck also pressed tightly against my breasts, making my cleavage pop out even more. I knew this was going to happen but I didn't know my boobs would almost pop out like this. Once again, I felt exposed. Even the slits were high, showing off my smooth, model-like legs. I was short for my age. 5'1 to be exact. I barely made 5'. The heels that was left for me were the ones I stared at in awe the first time I saw them. They made me feel taller. Just about a few inches taller. G*d dammit. Why did I have to be so short? William will still towar over me. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror, posing a bit to see how well this dress looks on me. My hands grazed my hips and stomach while I tilted my head. It's beautiful, I'm not going to lie. I felt a sudden breeze coming from the window, and behind me stood a very familiar figure. "You're beautiful." Cole's voice broke the silence that hung in the air. I jumped at his voice and turned immediately. A smile of relief formed on my face as I saw him. I pulled the dress up a bit so that I don't fall when I made my way to him. My body crashed into his as I locked my arms behind his neck. "You're okay." I mumbled as tears started to swell in my eyes. "I'll always be okay." he whispered, folding his arms around my waist. "How did you find me?" I asked abruptly as I pulled away from him. "Your secnt. It's intoxicating." His voice distorted around the word. The word intoxicating made my stomach turn. Did he not like me anymore? Was I only a burden to him? I almost got him k***ed so why would he care about me now? My heart skipped a beat as I stepped back slowly, looking to the side and not wanting to look him in the eyes anymore. He flashed towards me, holding his finger under my chin, coaxing my face up to look at him. I involuntarily lifted my head to meet his gaze. His eyes seemed smoldering, with a hint of worry. "You're seeing him again tonight, aren't you?" "I have to. It's in the contract." my voice broke a little. He huffed, still towering over me, his finger still under my chin. His head dipped towards mine. Our lips mashed together as his hand moved to my jaw and ear. It felt wrong, but also felt so right. I crushed closer to him, molding myself to his shape. The tip of my tongue traced his lower lip. His lips were flawlessly smooth. Our lips parted slightly as he pushed his tongue into my mouth. In that instant, our tongues melted together. His kisses were wild with a fierce craving. He let out a sensual growl. My hands now automatically moved to his neck, pulling myself even closer to him. I couldn't stop myself, and it felt he couldn't stop himself either. My heart fluttered more and more. His mouth tasted of blood, but that didn't even bother me in the slightest. He suddenly disentangled himself after breathing in deeply. "I'm sorry. Your scent... I just want to taste your blood so badly right now." my scent seemed to cause actual pain from the burning thirst it engendered. My breathing stuttered for a moment before letting go of his neck. Vampires... I thought he would be different, but I shouldn't jump to conclusions. Maybe he has been on blood bags for quite some time and my scent just sent him over the edge a little. "I'm sorry..." "No. Don't apologize. I should be the one to apo... Is that a bite mark?" I gasped, eyes widened when his eyes went straight to the bite mark, quickly covering it with my hair. "Lilith..." his voice sounded husky and cold. He pushed my hair out of the way and stared at the mark for what seemed like forever. "It's not what you think..." I whispered. "It's not what I think?! What am I thinking right now, Lilith?!" his raised voice made me flinch. "It wasn't William." I swallowed loudly. "Then who hurt you?!" he demanded. "It was Juliet. William's assistant." His jaw clenched as I explained. I couldn't lie. Not now. He had to know the truth. He would've found out sooner or later. Looks like sooner came quicker than later. I know the bite didn't leave a nasty scar. She didn't dig her fangs into me and molled my skin. Yet, for some reason, I understand his anger. He's trying to protect me. Even if it means going ape s**t on me. "Cole, I have to go." I grabbed my bag, pushing passed him in a hurry. He grabbed my wrist, tightening his grip. He wasn't done with me, but I really had to go, before William shows up and k*lls us both. Seeing as I only belong to William. I'm his property now. My skin cringed at the thought. "Please, don't let him or anyone else bite you, or hurt you in any other way." he seemed sencere. I nodded before taking my leave. I waited outside for William to arrive. He was my ride. I couldn't take a taxi or a bus. Even if I did, I wouldn't even know where this party was going to be. Minutes passed and William's limousine came around the corner. It's about damn time. I'm getting cold in this somewhat revealing dress. The limousine stopped in front of me. The door opened and William got out of the car, looking happy, holding the door for me so that I could get into the limousine. As I made my way passed him, he breathed in deeply and got in, hitting the door closed behind him. He pushed his hand behind my neck, pulling me closer to him, smelling my skin. "Why do I smell Cole all over you?" he growled through his teeth. "I- I uhmm..." "He was with you? Wasn't he? Your lips... He kissed you?" I didn't know how to answer him. His grip tightened behind my neck, causing tears to swell up in my eyes. I felt paralyzed. I didn't think this through. I didn't know that he would smell Cole all over me. Even my lips. My body started trembling out of fear. What was he going to do to me? He let go of me, pulling out some perfume that was in a small bag underneath the seat. "Cover that f*****g scent before anyone else smells you." He held the perfume out towards me. My hands still trembling, I took the perfume and started spraying it all over my body. Even my lips. The taste was bitter, it made me pull my face a little. I'm just glad William isn't looking at me. The face I pulled would've let him second guess my beauty. I placed the perfume onto his thigh, and in a flash, he grabbed my wrist, gripping my wrist tightly. His eyes shot up to mine. I could see so much anger and rage in his eyes, they made me shiver. "When we're done at the party, I will punish you." He hissed. I pulled my arm in protest. I didn't want him to punish me. I didn't know what he was going to do. Was he going to t*****e me? Or even k*ll me? Why do I put myself in these f*****g situations? "Please, William. Don't hurt me! It won't happen again! I'm sorry!" I yelled, pleaded and kept yanking my arm. His grip on my wrist was too tight for me to break free. The more I yanked, the tighter his grip became. "We're f*****g done with the first name basis! From now on, you call me sir! Do I make myself clear?!" I cried and nodded my head vigorously. "I can't f*****g hear you!" "Yes, sir!" He immediately loosened his grip on my wrist, letting me go. I pulled my arm away from him and pressed my arm against my chest, rubbing my wrist. Not that it was going to help, but still. I looked down at my wrist and saw that he bruised me. My wrist immediately turned purple. The tears kept streaming down my cheeks as I stared at my wrist. If this wasn't enough punishment, what else is he going to do to me? I was his damn employee, not his dog. "Wipe away those tears. We're almost there." he mumbled through his fist that was placed against his lips. I quickly wiped my tears away, pushing through the pain. I knew I would have to go to a restroom to clean my face properly. Was he even going to allow me to do so? I was to stay by his side at all times. The rest of the drive to the party was musing in stony silence. My crying stopped, but the pain lingered. I didn't know that he would hurt me like this. The worst was yet to come. The limousine stopped abruptly, almost sending me flying. William quickly pushed me back before I did, accidentally pushing against my wrist that was still against my chest, sending stinging pains through my arm. It made me wince and moan softly. William got out of the car and made his way to my side, opening my door. He held his hand out to me, waiting for me to take his hand and get out of the car. I did what was expected of me. Grabbing his hand, he quickly pulled me and slammed the door. I could hear muffled music coming from inside the massive manor that was now in front of me. Classical music met my ear and put me a little at ease. I breathed in the crisp air deeply, closing my eyes. My happiness was short lived when William locked his arm in mine, pulling me towards this beautiful manor. Lights lit up the front entrance and driveway. The big building had two floors. I can't imagine how many rooms this mansion held. I believe the inside was as beautiful as the outside. The pillars near the front entrance that held the balcony, spiraled, almost like Greek pillars, but it seemed marble, white, polished and smooth to the touch. The stairs that led up to the front entrance was concrete, but also polished. I could slip any moment. Everything looked so clean. The manor resembled a very beautiful, Victorian castle. So much excitement surged through my body, my heart even beating faster. Everything made the pain that lingered in my wrist irrelevant at this moment. I was gawking so much at the beauty of this building, that I almost lost my balance when going up the stairs, tripping over the first step. William held me up, ensuring that I don't fall. My head shot up at him, my eyes wide. I was confused to why he would help me. He hurt me so badly not so long ago, and now he saved me from falling. What the hell was this man thinking? One moment he's sweet, next moment, he's a bastard. "I can't let you ruin your legs before we go inside. You need to be proper... And obedient. Be on your best behavior, or else your punishment would turn out worse than it already is." He growled. I nodded quickly before fixing my posture. Once again, my arm was locked in his. We made our way to the front door. He rang the doorbell, stepping back and fixing his tuxedo. He looked handsome. The tuxedo sat tight around his chest and arms. Even his pants sat tight, showing off his peachy ass. He was built like a God. His jaw was sharp and strong. I could see him clenching his jaw every few seconds. I could tell he was somewhat nervous. I'm not sure if he was nervous to see his father again, or if it was something else that made him tense. He had an unfailingly crabby glare when he noticed me staring at him while we waited. The door wrenched open to reveal a beautiful girl wearing a maid uniform. Her eyes sparkled as she saw me and William. Her lips crooked up into a bright smile. "Hello, Camille. Thank you for opening the door for us." William's voice was soft and calm, almost velvet. "Hello, Master. Hello, Lady Lilith." her eyes went from him to me. She looked giddy. "Hello." I responded with a faint smile. I didn't know how I felt about this girl. She looks so young; so small and frail. I could tell she's a servent, but why use such a young girl to be a servent? "Lilith, this is Camille. She's my personal servent. I asked her here tonight to attend to you if need be." He explained. Why attend to me? What does he have planned? He led me inside while Camille closed the door behind us. The inside of this mansion was even more beautiful. The chandelier was big, hanging in the middle of the roof over the staircase, filled with diamonds that sparkled in the bright light. In front of us was an imperial staircase. Its flights were devided and led to a half-landing and then divided into two symmetrical flights both rising with an equal number of steps and turns to the next floor. The tiles were white marble and polished. I could see my own reflection. The walls were also white and polished, almost looked porcelain-like. My heart fluttered as I stood in awe, staring and taking in the beauty. I've never seen something this beautiful. All the fear and pain I felt, simply disappeared when my eyes met this beauty. I felt giddy. William now led me towards huge marble doors, which opened as we came closer. The inside was filled with people. Well, vampires. The moment we entered, everyone's heads turned and they all laid their eyes upon me. My gaze broke from the beauty I kept taking in, now meeting their gaze. I felt uncomfortable. It felt like they could pounce me any moment now. Their eyes were filled with l*st. Even the music stopped upon our entering. What felt like seconds, now felt like hours. "Ah, William, my boy!" I could hear a fimliar voice coming towards us. My eyes followed the voice and the only person that moved towards us. It was the same man that was in William's office, the first day I got my position as a personal assistant. It was his father. He seemed even more handsome now that I could take a good look at him. His hair was now slumped back, so his scar was even more visible. His smile widened and his arms stretched out wide as he was a few inches away from William and I. William let go of me as his father pulled him into a hug. They smacked each other's backs then pulled away. My gaze was met by his. His smile vanished, but then his face stretched into an unexpted eye crinkling grin. "And, of course, sweet Lilith." His voice faltered at the end, but his voice still held a se*ual tone when he said my name. He took my hand in his, lifting my hand towards his lips. His lips grazed my knuckles softly before landing a kiss on my skin. He looked up at me in this position, waiting, grimly triumphent, for me to find my voice. "Oh... Uhmm... Hello, sir." My voice saturated with innocent surprise. My eyes moved up slowly towards William. I could see he was fueled by irritation and chagrin. Mr. Patrova pulled away, standing up straight, fixing his posture. He grinned at me once more then turned. His arms were stretched out wide again before clapping his hands together once. "Let the party continue!" The music once again blasted and echoed through this big room. Everyone turned their eyes away from me and continued on with what they were doing. Their voices clashed and rang in my ears, making my head spin. William pulled me down the few stairs and led me towards a group of vampires that was on the other side of the room. I felt someone tucking the back of my dress softly, causing me to flinch and jump. I turned on my heel and saw Camille behind me. She smiled as I sighed in relief. My heart pounding in my ears. "Lilith." William broke my gaze from Camille. I turned to face the vampires that was standing in a half circle in front of me. Their eyes burned into my skin. Their gaze kept going up and down my body. My body tensed and I looked down. "She's really something to look at, sir William." The man wearing the white suit pointed out. His white blonde hair was tied back into a braid. A few strands of hair fell over his eyes. His piercing blue eyes were glued on my body. I think he's imagining me n***d right now. The thought made my skin cringe. I must admit, he was also something to look at. His skin looked flawless and pale white. His face held no blemishes or scars. His jaw seemed even more sharp and strong than William's. His lips were softer curved. He looked like an angel. "Lilith, this is my father's best friend, Lucas." William introduced us. "Hello, Mr. Lucas." My voice once again saturated. "Please, just call me Lucas." He grabbed my hand, bringing my hand to his lips. Even his lips were extremely soft. His perfume washed over me in waves. Without thinking, I breathed in deeply, tasting his scent on my tongue. He looked up at me, grinning devilishly. He pulled me in closer to him. His breath brushed over my ear, making me shiver. "I see you like my smell." He whispered seductively. William pushed him away, abrupted him in a rage. "She belongs to me." His voice now filled with anger. William really didn't want anyone touching me. He didn't care who looked, as long as they didn't touch his property. I cringed at the word. I should've never signed that contract. I'm so stupid. Fear washed over me. I knew I was going to get punished, because of Lucas. He shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have breathed in his perfume. I'm so afraid. What if William kills this man in front of me? Why should he even care what happens in front of me? He's so disgusted with me after what happened with Cole, and now this. He's going to kill me. Lucas laughed at the situation. His laughter sounded more evil than anything else. In a flash, Mr. Patrova was in between Lucas and William, pressing his hands against their chest. He tried to exstinguish the burning desire that William had to k*ll Lucas. William instantly looked at his father, huffing in rage. I could swear if he was human, his face would've turned purple cause of anger. William pulled away from his father's hand and stalked off towards a nearby door, leaving me with all these vampires. My eyes followed him as he disappeared. My heartbeat started racing and pounding in me ears. The fear I had now was worse than before. I had to calm down, control my emotions, before my powers starts spiraling. If that happens, they will know that I'm a witch and they might k*ll me. Camille gripped my wrist, breaking me from all the negative thoughts and emotions that almost spiraled out of control. I'm glad she's here, otherwise I would've been done for. She pulled me towards the door where William went through. The hallway was dimly lit with candles. It's weird that this part of the manor was so dark. I could barely make out what was in front of me. We came closer to another staircase. We walked up the stairs in silence, my shoes clattered noisily as we made our way to the second floor. A door appeared in front of us. Thanks to the dimly lit candle that was near the door, I didn't crash into it. Camille wrenched the door out of our way, peeking inside. She still didn't let go of my wrist. She held on to me so tightly, as if she was afraid I might float away. She pulled me inside and in front of me were a series of doors on each side of the hallway. At least here was more light than the hallway we came from. Camille pushed me towards the only slightly open door. Just as we came closer, she stopped pushing me and ran off. I looked at her, mystified as she disappeared through the door we came from. I shook my head, wondering why she brought me here. Maybe William was inside? Then I wouldn't be alone. I came closer to the room, hearing small moans of pleasure coming from inside. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the woman's moans. I slowly grabbed the door, peeking inside. The room was dark. I couldn't make out what I was looking at. As I pushed the door open completely, the light from the hallway lit the room slightly. I looked up at the desk that was in the middle of the room. I gasped at what I saw. William was hunched over a woman that was wearing a long, flowy red dress. Her hair extremely long and pitch black, hanging off the side of the desk, her body spread on the surface. His lower body pressed hard between her legs. I could see his pants was loose, hanging just beneath his bum. He thrusted his lower body hard and fast. William's eyes met my gaze. His thrusting became slower, pulling his member out from this woman. My eyes moved slowly towards her. As she smiled at me, I could see white fangs sparkling in the dim light. My gaze moved slowly to William, watching him as he pulled up his pants and tightening his belt. He came closer to me. My heart skipped so many beats at what I have just witnessed. My stomach turned and I felt like puking. My mind filled with so many negative thoughts. I knew he screwed a lot of women, but while I'm still here? Surrounded by a room full of vampires? Leaving me all by myself? He's a d*ck! He showed me now that he doesn't care about me in the slightest! If he cared, he wouldn't have left me by myself, but he did. Just to screw this woman! F*ck him! F*ck her! F*ck this! I'm done being his toy! If he k*lls me, he k*lls me! I don't care anymore. My sudden jealousy now turned into anger and rage. My chest burnt. The burning sensation moved from my chest, to my arms and then to my hands. I was going to lose control. Was I going to k*ll him before he k*lls me?
