"I promise to honor you , as your mate, king and teacher. Thank you for giving me the chance to be your mate. I had been so scared you would reject me as your mate after so many years being mateless. If it wasn't you I think I would have lost all hope. I was so happy to find out you truly were my mate I have been waiting for all these years." he kissed her hand which had her blushing "I am just glad my mate is someone I can trust who has always had my best interest at heart and in his heart." she smiled at him. Then made a secondary throne next to hers. " Let's sit and wait". They smiled and took their seats. As they sat, she heard the sound of wings. The first to arrive was the Siren. She was beautiful. She bowed gracefully. They bowed back. The Siren was nothing like what she had thought it would be. They had bird bodies with human heads, their words held all the knowledge of the world. They could tell you whatever you wanted to know, but their promises would often lead to the deaths of the humans that chased after them in the seas where they often fell victim to the Lorelei.The Siren represented the underworld. The next guest to show up was the representative of Air. Shay was the representative for the air elementals. Instead of the small snuggly crow she was used to, she had grown about ten sizes bigger. Next came two dragons, a male and female pair. They represented the water. A large Salamander the size of a wolf came for the Fire creatures. Finally, a pair of Elves came forward representing the Earth elementals. "it's time" the voice in her head said. She went up to the table. " Thank you all for coming and choosing me as your queen. This man by my side is my mate, Motono, and he will in the future be my king. I vow to you here and now to do my best for you to keep you happy and safe so you may thrive, living peacefully with this knife. I bind myself to all the elements, vowing that I will care for you fairly with all other beings of this earth. " she slit her hand with it and let her blood drip into the goblet. She held a white ribbon in her hand, her blood soaking through the pure white staining it red with her blood. Motono copied her, tying his ribbon to hers. He vowed "on my blood I will protect you as your mate and aid you as your king to keep all our people, no matter what race or species, safe". The dragons could be seen nodding their heads approvingly. The Siren was the first to grab the knife and pledge its loyalty. Although they didn't understand the words spoken, the voice in her head was translating for her " My knowledge is at your fingertips, ask when you need. We will come for you, queen of this earth." The elves came up next, each cutting their hands. " We pledge our loyalty to both of you as our Queen and King. We will defend you with all our power and skills ". The male tied his ribbon to Motono's while the female tied hers to Amani's, then tied it to the males before they stood there holding the ribbons in their hands. The dragons shrunk in size but spoke directly into their minds. " We the dragons Aqua and River vow our loyalty and protection to our new eternal Queen and King, when you need us. Just hold our scale pendants and call our names or wish for us and we will come to you" They held the knife in one claw then cut the under side of their talons. This time Aqua went to Motono with her ribbon , while River went to Amani's . Shay cut her talon, "I will protect you forever, even in death you are my queen." she spoke in a voice that was more powerful than her usual cute voice . The salamander spoke into their minds as well " I am Flint , I vow to serve you for as long as my soul exists. My mate could not be here but she will come later to bind herself to the king" He repeated the same action as all before him. Then something Amani hadn't expected happened. "Rue was about to tie all the ribbons together, when a small hand grabbed the knife she tied her ribbon to Amani's "cousin Amani I vow my loyalty to you as the Youngest princess of the Royal wolf family of Ayzra, that I will protect your family and your kingdom as your prophet and loyal subject" Amani was in shock and grew even more emotional when instead of tying all the ribbons Rue went and took part in the ritual as well tying her ribbon to both Amani and Motono's ribbons "As the representative of the Hedge witches as a teacher of magics towards you , I offer you my loyalty and will vow here and now my role will be to protect and teach your future children" as she finished speaking the eclipse started the blood seeped through all the ribbons then there was a blinding light and the ribbons floated stretching out then they split going into each body into what seemed like their hearts . "It's time you must drink a sip from the goblet and come into your true role and power," Amani took a sip of the blood in the goblet so many sensations came over her but all she could hear was that same voice saying "now become one with me, Your true wolf self instead of the thing that vile creature tried to turn you into " She could feel all the powers flowing through her body it was intoxicating then she felt something more , she felt the welcome and wonder of many living beings all of them as if they were part of her very being " Amani have Motono drink a sip too as King he must drink too " her wolf soul told her calmly so she held out the goblet to him without hesitating he took the goblet and drank cheers reached their ears and then a crown was placed on her head by River while Aqua placed a crown on Motono's head the crowns were majestic they depicted all the elements and even had moonstones on them. During the whole ritual, the eclipse went on. As soon as she called out for everyone to enjoy the feast, the eclipse had passed.
