Otaktay wanted to create his own pack but it failed. Now he wanted to crush the country that banished him and take his kingdom for himself. He had hated the fact he was a lowly nobody when he had royal parentage. The betrayal still stung. He had never thought he would have been kicked out of his family home, let alone his kingdom and country. He had always thought they would go to war and he would claim the entire country and world as his kingdom. He had once read that the purest of souls had red hair , that red-headed people were reborn gods. The people with Roan hair were true royalty of the gods and so he was trying to capture and mate with all the red heads he could find. So far none of the red heads he bedded had produced him a child, let alone one with Roan colored hair. If he really was going to get the results he wanted, he needed a real royal. That was the reason why he had the royal pups stolen. k********g them served two purposes for him . He loved that he broke the queen's heart even though he had meant for all of them to be removed from her side, but only managed to kidnap 2. He was happy to learn one was female, but it would take many years before he could accomplish his goals . That was why he had wanted the older red head he had found in a village not too far away from his pack. Amani was a teen. She would be able to bear childbirth as a very healthy looking female. Being from these parts, he had wondered if she was the daughter of the missing royal no one had seen or heard of for about 17 or so years. He was made that he lost her but if she had been a royal she should have had a wolf form naturally instead he had turned her hadn't he? the girl had died in that fire he was vexed but since she wasn't a royal she was no good to him other than as a plaything. He wanted to destroy all the royal family members on his journey for vengeance and power.

Amani had been learning about the royal family when a thought occurred to her "if the royal family always stay in pup form until they can defend and protect their human forms, how come I was never in wolf form? " Motono was sitting in on her lesson "that's true she never was a wolf as a baby" he was pretty surprised to hear that if they had babies there was a good chance they would also not have a human form until they were strong enough to protect themselves with fighting or magic. He couldn't imagine not seeing or holding his future children in his arms to snuggle in human form. Gina chuckled in her mind." You did not have that because I was not to be part of you until you met your mate. I was there briefly when Motono saved you, but I was not able to control your body because I was too powerful for your tiny body. After you were bit it forced the start of my awakening. I had been fighting with the cursed venom since I had been sleeping deep inside your core. The fire in your veins was my power coursing through you joining our powers together. It was also the fire elements trying to partner with you, because you had the will of fire in you that burned so brightly they wanted to flame your fire and bask in it as well. The first time I had been able to see through your eyes was when we met with our mate here in the city where our mother's paved the way to their destiny." As she listened to Gina in her mind she could hear her teacher saying her father and his family knew many paths of magic, so maybe that had something to do with it or her healer abilities surpassed the wild traits suppressing them until she reached maturity. She was surprised at the suggestion, since it seemed something like that had indeed happened. "I believe that as long as she mates with a wolf, her children should be closer than she was to their wolf blood. She is, after all, not a pure werewolf but a hybrid and it is hard to tell how things will turn out for them in the ways they grow and mature." She was then shown the family book. It was a very old, very large, decorated book. It had moons, planets and star constellations all over it . In the column next to their names, they had their gender, year of birth and title, but it also had another interesting thing next to some. Not only would it say Hybrid or mixed parentage, but some would say "reincarnation of " or "reborn god/dess". There were earth goddesses who tried to better the world and goddesses of the Hunt or child birth; some were the triple-faced Diana, who was said to be the protector of women and slaves . They also claimed she was the mother of wolves and witches alike. Others claimed in fact it was her mother that was the true mother of wolves. In the book, it merely stated that they ruled over them as Queen and goddess. She would be signing her name in the book when she was introduced as the long lost daughter of Keisha Moon. When she signed her name the book would write everything about her in it as well. She hoped she could learn such an enchantment as the one in the book so that she could have the same for her own kingdom.

After they finished with the book, it was time for dance lessons. Amani knew some dances but none of the ones they expected her to know at the palace. Motono wasn't much help in this field, as he too had to learn as her ball escort . Rue knew the basics but took the opportunity to teach Marthius. Pearl and Rufus were also paired up but they had been getting lessons for a few days already and were good enough for the standards they placed on children of their age. Amani felt flustered being so close to Motono but he treated her like she was not only a treasure but with respect, keeping his hands in respectable positions while leaving a comfortable distance between them . The distance of their bodies as they swayed did not look nearly as awkward as it felt when they first started learning the steps "Motono, You are an Alpha, right? Take charge of her , the man leads the woman across the dance floor, keep a straight back look into her eyes and move your bodies as one leading her from A to B to C and back again!" the dance instructor instructed him in a taunt voice. There were other students of their ages also dancing, though it looked more like they were practicing and when a pretty young blonde came around to flirt with Marthius asking if she could cut in, Rue gently stomped on his foot before looking up at him innocently "oops sorry snuggle muffin my foot slipped, guess I still need a bit more practice" before she looked at the girl and spoke "sorry but we still need to practice since we will be dancing most of the dances together as partners I really can't do without him " the girl took the hint leaving without looking back "ow, I would have turned her down you know sweetface , besides I need more practice than you do " he pinched her nose before kissing her forehead she humphed before turning her blushing face away from him . Amani laughed from where she was dancing. " Who knew Rue could be so cute" she mused out loud, causing Marthius to chuckle while Rue stuck her tongue out at her friend " Me I knew it the moment I met her", as though that had finally calmed her nerves, she smiled up at him kissing his cheek without another word. They continued to practice the dance moves, counting the steps out loud. Amani and Motono had 3 dances to memorize.
