Preparations

Amani was exhausted a week had passed since she had taken on the role as Queen to all elemental entities , she didn't have to do too much in that regard. It was business as usual minus the fact elementals were popping up all over the place to talk to her , offer gifts or protection to her as well as pledge their loyalty to her. All day long if she was not dealing with 1 thing she was dealing with another Royalty lessons, harnessing all the power of the elements plus her other sets of magical skills . She was also learning from Motono what it took to lead a werewolf pack in terms of financing and staff. As her status had changed slightly they had even more reason to hold a ball in her honor as a "coming out party" some old guy on the council had said she couldn't remember his name but he was always trying to pressure her into meeting some young men to find a mate.

The Royal family had decided they would also introduce their two returned children to their kingdom at the same time they introduced Amani . What that meant was that while they were busy giving Amani lessons the two young children were by her side learning as well. Rufus was annoyed this morning "I don't want to be princely , I want to learn to be a warrior protecting our people keeping the family safe. I don't have a dominate bone in my body I was not born to be a leader" the teacher was a member of the council who had a noble title "I can understand that well young master , I also never wanted to be a warrior as I was born a scholar but life never goes as we plan there is no guarantee you will never have to fill the role of a leader though. What if your mate is second daughter or son to a royal or what if your mate ends up being the leader of pack? then you will naturally have to help them run the pack. Or maybe you are mated to a Beta or Gamma you will need to know how to act accordingly for any station in life you may end up filling" Rufus looked up helplessly before his shoulders sank "okay I understand " he muttered unhappily. Pearl had been learning how to coordinate herself in human form but had not managed to figure out how to shift into a full human the wolf ears always remained on the top of her head, everyone found it cut so no one said anything about it. Amani focused on what was written in front of her she was writing Zonta a letter to accompany her invitation to her Coronation (this one was a private ceremony where she would formally bind herself as queen to all elemental beings by making pacts with each element who would offer a protector to serve their Queen she was unsure whom she could expect as she hadn't even met all the elemental beings of the world there were far too many out there after all. She would find out in a few days anyways in the meantime she wrote a secondary invitation that one was for the grand ball which was about two days after she formally accepted her role as "Queen of all Queens" every pack Alpha and his family were invited to the ball , along with them would be their Gamma's while the Beta and Delta's would all stay at their packs for security reasons. If something should happen to Motono and Marthius his beta would take over the pack since he had no children and the Delta would take over as the Beta, this meant the future of the packs would be safe if anything were to happen at the ball. Zonta normally wouldn't be invited to the ball as her rank was not high enough, but every pack could bring a personal doctor with them to ensure their leaders weren't poisoned and stayed in good health while away from their packs it was usually only noble wolves who actually went that far though. "Dear Zonta, Please make sure to bring our friends with you , I want to show my personal appreciation for their sincere efforts to keep me safe. see you all on the aforementioned date love always your sister Amani" she sealed the letter and invitations in an envelop sealing it with wax the seal was her mother's it was simple in it's design as it was a crescent moon with a crown hanging from it. The Greyson family all got specialized invitations as her most loyal supporters they would be the pillars of her new kingdom and she planned on making that public at the ball.

Rue and Marthius were sharing a room as they had become a mated couple, there was not as much of an age gap between them although Rue looked young she was already 20 years old. The men were trying outfits in Rue and Marthius room while the girls were trying outfit's out in Amani's room as her aunt Raphaelita was in the room directing the maids with thousands of dresses for Pearl, Rue and Amani to choose through to find the dresses they would wear for the ball. There was a dress that had been left in her room with a note on it that morning indicating it was to be worn for her elemental coronation. The dress looked absolutely magical the materials of the dress represented the elements as she touched each one, a voice whispered in her ear "the feathers of Sirens " "hairs of the centaurs" "scales of the mermaids" "tears of the dragon" "Shay's feathers" she knew the last the minute she felt it as Shay had become her familiar she represented both air and spirit to Amani as the crow could manipulate air without batting a pretty feather or eye. Amani was dying to try the dress but had vowed to only try it on the day of the ceremony which was two days away. Taking her thoughts away from her dress to pay attention to the ones that were being placed in front of them demanding to be looked at, Amani had never worn dresses of this nature , her dresses were usually traditional ones of her father's people . Three hours later and Amani was the only one who hadn't picked a dress , none of the dresses really spoke to her "Majesty , if you would like I can have a dress made for you easily" she looked towards the voice noticing the special aura around the maid that told her the maid was made of magical energy and was an earth elemental once again the voice in her inner ear whispered "a pixel if she makes you happy offer her a ribbon as thanks they love them it's a treasure to them as they love the fine things in life she is mixed with an elf " she smiled at the maid "if you can have a dress brought here that I fancy I will give you something that you fancy in return " she promised folding her ring and pink finger and placing her hand over her heart" the Pixel maid's eyes went a little larger as her lips parted in a silent "oh" she nodded quickly before running out of the room .
