Reunions

Amani and Rue were both nervous knowing they were going to be entering the royal palace , while they sweat with anxiety the two young wolves were looking or sniffing around. Rufus seemed to be anticipating something but he wasn't sure what he just kept looking around antsy he kept saying he had a feeling something big was going to happen. Amani felt eyes on her and looked up she locked eyes with the most beautiful woman she had ever seen her hair looked like living fire, her eyes were a shade of orange a color she had seen on a calico cat before when she was much younger. Her mouth hung open a bit "wow she's so pretty" she whispered out loud the woman smiled with tears in her eyes , she approached Amani but was looking at Rufus . Pearls ears perked up and her tail started to wag as she whimpered gently "My babies !" the woman choked out as tears fell beautifully down her face Rufus and Pearl ran towards the woman "Pearl and Rufus's mother? really did we really find their mother?" Rue was looking between the young wolves and the beautiful woman while speaking to Amani who could only stare in amazement. After hugging her children the woman stood up and straightened her clothes it was then that Rue got a good look at the woman and gasped "Queen Raphaelita , it is truly an honor to meet you" as she spoke she knelt Amani was about to turn and bow when all of a sudden an eerie feeling came over her it felt like a magnetic pull forcing her to look behind her. It felt like an outer body experience as her eyes locked with another set and all of a sudden memories came flooding back into her brain and one memory stuck his eyes meeting hers while he beckoned her to come to him wrapping her in his warm embrace she had known instinctively she was always going to be safe with him. Motono hadn't known what it would be like to meet Amani again after so many years so he had been nervous the entire time he made his way to the Palace . He had suspected she was his mate but hadn't considered what it would truly mean to meet his mate until he felt her presence and looked into her eyes he felt as though he had come home . He remembered that day when he had heard her cry and the joy he felt in his heart that she had lived , his feet were moving on their own they didn't stop until he was right in front of her . They had been staring into each other's eyes the whole time he smiled before speaking " Hello , I am so happy to see you are alive and well Amani , I am Motono Greyson , I have journeyed from very far away to make it here by your side" she walked up to him then and hugged him "Thank you , for that day all those years ago as well as taking the time to come find me now" he hugged her back for a moment it felt as though they were the only 2 in the world Amani felt as though she had finally returned to her one true home. Motono reluctantly turned away from Amani and bowed "Your Royal Majesty Queen Raphaelita , it's a great pleasure and honor to finally make your acquaintance. I am Motono Greyson Alpha of Hilasmus Pack " she smiled "Welcome to my Kingdom friends please be at ease , I am most happy to help not only those in need but the ones who have brought my long lost children back to me" she then looked at Amani oddly "You must be Amani, I was never told what your family name was though " she spoke with a gentle smile while holding onto her children "apologies my full name Amani Moon Grace" the queen stopped in her tracks her eyes filling with tears again "no way , I should have known. You look so much like your mother how did I not notice it" Amani looked at her confused "did you know my mother?" she hadn't much knowledge about her mother so she was surprised to hear she would know the Queen the queen smiled sadly at her as she pet her hair placing it behind her ear she looked saly into her eyes as she spoke " she was my elder sister she was supposed to set up a kingdom in your part of the world but she fell in love , got pregnant then sadly died giving birth to you never having finished setting up the kingdom even though we all knew her daughter was going to take over the mantle as queen one day " Amani just stared at her "you must be kidding I am a princess? how is that possible? and how would someone like me rule a kingdom?" Motono chuckled "you have come through so much including being bitten by an accursed wolf and shifted all by yourself without knowing just what was happening to you, then you took on this young blind wolf. As well as befriended that grouchy crow and you saved an entire village all on your own, I think you will make a fine Queen for our people and the Greyson family will stay by your side always" she felt a fluttering feeling in her belly and blushed looking away from Motono "wow Amani if you are going to be a queen maybe I should stay with you as your court healer" Amani laughed awkwardly "if that ever happens sure you can be one of many , but only if you keep treating me as your friend" Rue hugged her then turned to Motono "hi, I am Rue , I have been loaning Amani all my magic journal and books so that she can polish her skills" he smiled at her "well thank I guess I should thank you, any friend of Amani's is a friend of mine" she smiled at him the queen lead them all towards the palace gates Amani was up front with the kids and Queen while Rue walked in the back with Motono "sooo she's your mate isn't she?" Rue asked him with a low voice he looked at her shocked all he could do was nod she smiled "I could tell by the way you looked at each other, so I guess that means you will be the king then?" he shrugged his shoulders the thought hadn't even occurred to him that as her mate eventually that meant that if she became a Queen he would become a king as her mate.
