Motono did not trust this ghost and refused the thought of letting Amani go off after some supposed enemy, knowing that her evil sadistic uncle was also able to manipulate spirits. He knew that she couldn't ignore it, but she could not do this hands on and so he asked his salamander guardian, Ember, to send notice to the Masters that they needed a Spirit Master as well as the circle to take care of this situation . Amani was content letting him take charge of the situation. She couldn't deny the fact her uncle could probably be the culprit and although she would love to take him down for it, she knew getting involved could put Motono in danger, so she liked the thought of them not being hands on. She had not yet met all the allies that Motono had met. She was looking forward to meeting them though. Amani placed a protective shield around herself that would keep her safe from any tricks the ghost might have up her sleeves before she went back to sleep. The night passed without any more incidents. In the morning, they ate breakfast silently. Motono had already filled everyone in about the ghost and everyone had decided it was a good idea to place the ghost in the capable hands of the elemental witches and wizards. They continued on their way. Their next stop would be Rue's town, where she would pack up all her things so she could move and be with Marthius in Hilasmus as his wife. She was looking forward to their new life, so much was changing. Rue had to distract herself so she would not get overwhelmed by all the different changes in her life. Amani could tell there was something bothering Rue and even believed she knew what it was, but she didn't mention anything to her until they were at a stream fishing for some lunch. "You know you don't have to be nervous or worry about anything, just enjoy the adventure in the moment and worry about tomorrow when it comes. Don't forget you aren't alone nor will you ever be alone, which I know is difficult because you are used to being alone. I will make sure you have a secluded space where you can enjoy your own company with no one intruding on your time alone." Rue looked at her shocked "how did you know I was having some difficulties being around so many people?" Amani smiled " you pretty much live in a secluded hut all by yourself even though you could have lived closer to the people of your town , I am observant enough to be able to understand a bit about your personality. I was actually pretty surprised you even wanted to come on my journey with me the first time." the girls laughed. " Honestly, you were leading me towards my destiny. I thought it was my destiny to watch over you guys , loaning the knowledge in my possession to you . Instead you lead me right into the arms of my soulmate", Rue shook her head, still amazed by the turn of events from the day she was first saved by Amani. She remained quiet a moment before saying "I knew it was going to be one hell of a ride and I haven't been disappointed yet. I am really looking forward to this new life in your kingdom, Amani." Amani smiled at her friend. " I am also looking forward to it , this isn't just new to you , but it's also new for me as well. We will get through it all together, though after all, before being a Queen I am Always your friend, first and foremost, Rue." they shared one last smile before they focused on the tasks they had fought hard to be allowed to do . They weren't alone. Amani's guardians were all over watching her. Zonta was a short distance away in the stream, setting up a small net. They had to catch enough fish to feed a dozen people. Amani used the salamanders to cook the fish to perfection. Everyone was enjoying the meal as they waited for word from the Elemental Masters . It was around mid afternoon when they finally got word that a Master would be meeting them shortly so they could aid the ghost that had come begging Amani for help. It was suspicious that the ghost would run to her of all the people the ghost could have chosen , never mind the fact she was in wolf form at the time as well. That was what had made them all believe it was a trap , who went to a pack of sleeping wolves crying for help to defeat a human. It made absolutely no sense to any of them . Amani was watching everyone working out sparring. That was when she felt a change in the air , her skin tingled. She felt the wind still and then felt something fly past her towards Motono who had been walking towards her . Before Amani could even scream, she saw a giant flare of fire go up in front of Motono. She felt an anger running through her body that she had never felt before as Gina took over, words came out her mouth that no one from her party seemed to understand , the dragons and elves, however, knew what she was saying and sprang into action along with the salamanders . The sky was turning gray and sounds of thunder could be heard in the distance. The wolves were all looking around in nervous anticipation . " Now who would think it was a good idea to get Amani mad? She was bad enough before she came into all these awesome powers", Zonta groaned. Mingen made his way to her side. "Now I know someone has a death wish if they don't run away scared after all that, " he agreed. "Things are about to get messy , keep your focus. We have no idea what she might do, since it's her wolf in control right now, not Amani ", Keokuk warned them, shielding his eyes from the increasing wind. Someone was about to have an introduction they may never live to talk about now that they had caught Gina's undivided attention.
