Zonta sat next to Tala who was in her human form her cheeks were stained with tears and Kiyiya sat next to her awkwardly holding her hand while Mingan supported Zonta on her other side sitting next to Dakota the teens had all tried their hardest but they had all been separated from their friend and each other by enemy wolves who came out of the woodwork like a swarm of fire ants every hit that connected sent a fiery wave of pain through their bodies. Mingan was 17 while Dakota was 16 Zonta 15 and Tala and Kiyiya were both 13 . Tala had first shifted forms when she was 11 and she had been so proud because it meant she could finally meet Amani as a wolf , she had trained so hard to be able to be useful as a pair of eyes to keep a look out for Amani and she had come to love her but she had never been very good at fighting and hadn't be training long enough to have made enough progress to have been any help in the battle. Everyone of the teens felt cheated but the wolves they had faced had all had years more training then them the youngest one in the captured enemies had been 17 , the rest had all been older as old as 30 even. Mingan was the only wolf that spent time around Amani that had actually been in communication with her in human form other than Zonta, Mingan had been Amani's math tutor for the past few years and so they had a pretty good relationship where she could confide in him about the nasty letters girls would send to her because the boys they liked would be looking at her or talking to her. Mingan had always looked forward to going back to the pack training grounds where he would give the names of any pack members picking on her and they would get punished in training without ever knowing what they were being punished for other than “ not exhibiting appropriate behavior in school , that if they had enough time to not focus on their studies in school they would focus on their training with all that extra energy they had” and none of them had ever caught on to the fact that it was Mingan himself who had suggested the punishment they were receiving in the first place. There were two such girls sitting at the table across from his own table “ I never knew she was so important to our clan just who is she?” “ the goddess should be fair why does she have the looks and be so highly regarded by the clan when she's just a human” they rolled their eyes and he cleared his throat “Alpha , if I may speak maybe we could ask the magic people for help I mean can't they locate her with scrying ?” Keokuk looked at Kijika Joseph who looked shocked at his son's suggestion and wondered if that was the difference of the generations that the young ones would speak so easily about something many other wolves frown on. “We do not make a habit of getting involved with the Magi but it is a suggestion we never would have thought of ourselves as Kita is the only Magi we deal with and as her teacher I am sure he probably has some solutions we have yet looked into “ he nodded knowing he was being brave in asking what he did but he was determined to do everything he could to make things right and get his friend back home. He had another motive for getting her back as well he couldn't stand to see the girl he had always loved looking so bleak and empty for Zonta's own good as well he was going to help bring Amani back home. Amani could no longer remember how long she had been in Otaktay's castle but she had made an ally in a young girl who had to be no more than 6 years old , the little girl came with her mother and helped heal her wounds after every day of beatings the mother also was not a fan of Otaktay and was scared he would kill her if she tried to oppose him . That day Amani had decided to talk to the woman directly “you don't have to answer me with words if the answer is yes use the cream if no soap , are you a werewolf?” the woman c****d her head with a raised eye brown and wiped her arm with a soap cloth “ are you being threatened? “ a dab of cream on her cheek “are you a witch?” soap on the other arm making her wince “ouch, so just a normal healer then “ the woman smiled added cream on her brow “if you have it make your people keep wolves bane in your homes and even on your person when dealing with him and his thugs” she smiled again the daughter had no problems with chatting with her it would seem as she got on the bed and started to help treat her wounds on her back and whispered in her ear “who would you like us to contact if we can” tears sprung to her eyes “I couldn't put you in danger but my people are to the East , any person at all that is a Greyson can help me” she hadn't forgotten her teacher's words from that first night she projected her soul to the astral plains teacher had told her the Greyson's would always be her allies “we heard he is bringing a master of Magic to try and break your mind you should prepare yourself for the pain you will have to face, we will do what we can to try and get you out of this place but you will have to be patient it will take us some time to achieve” she sat there crying while the mother and daughter duo remain silent after that while they care for her injuries .Otaktay came in the night she had heard about the magician he was planning to hire to break her down and he brought a dress with him and demanded she change into it right there in front of him “Put this on right now , don't keep me waiting” she winced as she moved her body struggling a bit she got the dress on he looked her over once then handed her a brush “ brush your hair then follow me” she brushed her hair with care and let it tumble around her shoulders loosely and followed him out the room down stairs and corridors until they arrived at the dinning room it was her first time in the room since she was brought here about 3 weeks ago or so she assumed. There was a man seated at the table and he got up when she entered the room and pulled a chair out for her which after a nod from Otaktay she accepted graciously. The man looked familiar he looked similar to her own father but her intuition told her this man was evil his heart and soul were equally as black as Otaktay's were .
