Tattoos and Warning's

We exited the restaurant and followed Neil down the street to where the tattoo shop was. He held the sketch close to his chest so no one saw it. He acted like a child who couldn't wait to give a gift. He walked with a skip in his step and Adrian looked like he was wanting to join in on the excitment. "This is going to be so awesome! Matching tattoos have got to be the best idea yet!" Adrian exclaimed joyuosly.     "I know! This is going to be my first tattoo and I am glad I am going to have my friends there with me!" Jenna hugged Adrian happily and jumped on Neil's back. Joseph and Jonah laughed at their antics. They gave matching grins before picking up Jenna and hosting her in their arms. She let out a squeal, making us laugh and passerbys watching us in amusement.     "That is an odd name for a tattoo shop. Who names thier shop "The Dwelling"?" Joseph chuckled as Neil punched his shoulder. "Well, I guess we should go in." Neil opened the door, waiting for us to walk in before him.     "Welcome to my shop. My name is Roza and this is my brother Jackson. He creates the tattoos you wish to have. I read the furture. I know everything about you the moment you let me read you. I can read your past, present, and your future. I can tell you anything you wish."     "I don't know about you guys, but I would prefer to not know my future." Jonah said, scooting behind me as    Roza giggled while her brother smirked.      "My sister is a little forward. Do you all know the tattoo you will be receiving or are you still deciding on it?" Jackson asked kindly. We turned to Neil, who held a bright grin. He showed the sketch to Jackson. "Am I asuming you are all wanting to get this tattoo to keep a connection between you guys?"     "Yes sir. They left me to decide on the tattoo because I am the one who suggested it. If you don't mind, can you do each tattoo in a different color for us. It will make it unquie, showing how we are the same but still different."     "You, my dear sir, are a wise man. The rest of you sit down and enjoy refreshments. There is tea, water, and cookies. We like to keep our guest comfortable while they wait. What is your name young man?"     "My name is Neil." Neil answered.      "Well Neil, will you please follow me to the next room to start on your tattoo?" Jackson asked. Neil followed him and the rest of us took our seats. Roza sat across from us and smiled.      "Okay, to be honest, I want to know some of our future. Will you please tell us?" Jenna asked. The boys pouted but one look from Jenna told them not to argue. They sat there silent as Jenna turned to me and raised a brow.     "Don't look at me. I don't believe in this kind of stuff. Let her say what she wants to say." I told her. Jenna gave a firm nod and looked at Roza.      "Wonderful" Roza clapped her hands. "Now, we can do this one of two ways. I can touch your hand so I can see or I can use an object of value."     "Let's do object of value." I suggested. We all took off our wings that I had brought during Christmas with our saying on the inside. From the ashes we will rise.      "Matching rings. Interesting." She hummed as she picked up Adrian's ring. Roza gained a slight glaze in her eyes. As quickly as the glaze came, it disappeared. She looked to Adrian and smiled. "You have a wonderful future ahead. You will gain a wonderful family, but I must warn you, you will face many trials. Darkness lies ahead of you, but your friends will be there to guide you and your lover will stand by your side no matter what." She continued to talk to Adrian while my mind wondered off.     I thought back to the past few days. I remember the conversation I had with my parents. They weren't happy when I told them my plan after high school. I told them that I am leaving town because I wasn't happy. They were upset because I decided to skip out on college and leave. They wanted me to take over the family business, but I refused. The fight ended with me being disowned and staying the rest of the week with Jenna. I had told Jenna what happened. I am waiting to tell the others until we get settled.     "Evie, she has your ring now." Jenna nudged me, bringing me out of my thoughts.     "Alright dear, are you ready?" Roza asked. I shrugged, waiting for her to start. Her eyes glazed over longer than they had for the others. She breathed deeply and handed me the ring back. "You have not had an easy life. You have always worked to prove yourself. You take care of others, even when you don't take care of yourself. Your trials have not yet ended. You will face a time where your friends and family aren't there. You will fight to find your way back to them. The darkness will not stay. The light will win at the right time." Her words didn't phase me.     "I'm not worried about it. I have faced a lot of hard times. I'm sure this will be no different." I delcared firmly.     After an hour or two (I lost track of time), it was my turn to get my tattoo done. By now, i know the tattoo will be a phoenix with our saying under it. Sitting in the chair, I watched as Jackson carefully did the drawing. It was like watching someone working on something wonderful.     It took thirty minutes for him to finish the tattoo, but the waiting was worth it. He smiled. "I think this is the best work I have ever done." I looked at the phoenix and smiled. Instead of one bold color, it was serveral different colors. Silver and gold stood out the most, but there were rainbow colors that shimmered within. "It fits you. I did yours like this because the leader is meant to stand out. You, my dear, are a leader and I know one day you will do great things." A leader? Well, as long as I have my friends by my side. That's all that matters. They are all that matters.
