Magic Cavern and Wolves from Hell

Neil came running in excitment. He jumped around like a child, happily chatting with Jonah about something. Joseph joined in on their conversation followed by Jenna and Adrian. Erick and I just continued to do our own thing, which meant looking at suits for his wedding. He was still trying to figure out if he wanted the normal black suit or a silver one with green trimming.     "What about this one? It's simple." Erick said pointing at a black suit that came with a silver and green tie.      "Are you sure you want that kind of tie?" I asked. He frowned and then let out a huff. "How about this? I make the clothes, and you tell me what material and color you want, okay?" He smiled.     "I think that is brilliant. Adrian, Evie is going to make the clothes for the wedding. Show her the design and colors for what you want and she will make it." Adrian nodded distracted by the conversation with the others. Sharing a look with Erick, I closed my laptop, watching my friends with curiousity. "What are you five talking about?"     "Neil found this awesome cavern that he wants to go check out. Can we all go?" Jenna asked, jumping up and down in excitment. I shared a look with Erick. He shrugged his shoulders, not knowing what to say to that. Why must I be the adult here? "Evie?" Jenna begged.     "I don't know. This cavern may be dangerous and I don't want any of you to get hurt. I know you guys want to take challenges and go on adventure, but this may not be wise." I said unsure.     "Please Evie!" They begged. "Please!"     "Oh, I suppose we can go. At the first sign of danger, we will turn around and come back home, am I understood?" I said firmly. They nodded in agreement. "Get into hiking wear. I have bags backed for hiking, they will be down here when you are ready. Hurry up now."     "Do you think this is a smart idea?" Erick asked in worry.     "I don't think it is, but they will bug us about it until we give in. You know they won't go unless we agree." I told him. He gave me a look. "Okay, when I aagree. I don't understand why you guys made me the leader of the group."         "Because, out of all of us, you are the one who is most determined to make sure we are safe. You have always been our guide line. When you beat those bullies up for hurting Ardrian, we new you would protect us without a second thought. I just don't think you should have given in this time."     "I agree with you. I don't think this is going to end well for us, but I have a feeling something is going to come out of this. Maybe a lesson is going to show us that exploring eveything that looks fun won't be smart. Might as well let them learn, right?" I asked.     "I suppose. I'm going to go change." He walked up the stairs with a troubled look. I know he is feeling what I am feeling. Something bad is looming over the horizen and I don't think this is one of those things where we can easily get over it or out of it.     Thirty minutes later, we were walking out of the house and following Neil. Beofre leaving the house, I had double checked my boots to make sure I had my knives placed there. I had five more blades resting on my hip and two on each arm. I am always prepared due to the dangers that live within the woods. Erick watched Adrian as he skipped beside Neil, who was telling him about what he had discovered at the opening of the cavern.     "Erick." I whispered. We fell away from the group so we were able to talk without them hearing. "Erick, I know you are worried. I am too, but we have got to trust them. I know something else has been bothering you, please tell me."     "I guess you have noticed that I haven't been hiking at night like I have been the last three months?" He asked. I nodded. I figured he had a run in with something he didn't like. "Well, when I wanted to do some exploring on my own, I saw something. I thought it was some kind of animal, so I didn't think much about it." He paused and flashed me a look. I nodded for him to keep going. "I saw a rather large creature, I couldn't make out it's form. It had glowing red eyes and sharp white-yellow teeth."     "Red eyes? I saw red eyes the first night we night hiked. I didn't say anything because I thought I was seeing things." I didn't get a chance to say anything else when we both heard the screams of Adrian and Jenna. Taking off in a sprint, we raced towards our friends. Reaching the group, we saw Jenna and Adrian laughing and covered in mud. I sighed in relief while Erick looked pale and unnerved. "Erick?"     "Glowing red eyes." He said, pointing behind Joseph. "Not good." None of the other acknowledged the eyes or the slight growling.      "Get to the group and convince them to quickly find the cavern. I will watch what happens and watch you guys. I'd go to hell before any of you got hurt." I ordered. Walking, or more like running, he went to Neil and told him to find the cavern. I came up behind them as Neil began to lead again.      The eyes were joined with sharp white-yellow teeth. Freezing, I continued to watch the creature. The shadows faded as the creatures appearance came to light. It looked like a wolf, but at the same time it didn't. I will call the creature a wolf for the time being. The wolf snarled at me, Without thinking, I threw a dagger, stabbing its right eye. Letting out a howel of pain followed by a  snarl, it tried to get the dagger out. I turn and saw everyone just standing there. "WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING JUST STANDING THERE?" I screamed in anger and fear. "f*****g RUN!" They took off without a second thought. I quickly followed.     The wolf snapped at my heals as I threw another dagger. I missed. "Just f*****g great. I'm going to die before seeing my best friends marry." I gasped in pain as the wolf bit into my leg. Grabbing the two knives from my right arm, I started stabbing the hell out of the thing. It whimpered, letting go of my leg.      I followed the foot prints of my friends, hoping that the have gotten to a safe place. Up ahead, I saw a opening. It must be the cavern Neil was talking about. I heard the pounding of the paws behind me as I neared the cavern. I saw Erick at the entrance. Pushing harder to get closer to him, I raced like my life depended on it, in which case, it did. How do people do this in movies?     I landed in Erick's arms, collasping, trying to get a grasp of air. The wolf was still running and I knew it was the end for us. As soon as the wolf reached the cave entrance, it seemed to bounce off a force. "What the actual f**k!" I shouted. "What the f*****g hell is going on?"     "It appears to be being held back by a force." Neil stated. I glared at him. "Let's get away from here so we don't have to see that creature. It's taller than d**k Swab back home and that is saying alot." I stood up with Erick's and Neil's help.     "Hey guys, there's a light back here. Like sun light, which is really weird, because it's cloudly outside. It's not bright yet, but I think we may have another way out," Jonah said.      "Come on and get on my back, Evie. Your leg looks really bad and I don't think you should walk on it." I climbed onto Neil's back and he began to follow Jonah. The running has made me severly tired and the bleeding in my leg wasn''t helping either. I am thankful that Neil is carrying me.     "What the hell?" Jenna exclaimed as we left the cave. It seems we have entered a completely different world. Trees stood taller than the forst on the other side of the cavern A river flowed quietly and the sun shined brightly.      "This makes no sense! Where's the entrance? The entrance is gone!" Joseph screeched. Sure enough, when we turned around, the entrance was no longer there.     "We are in so much trouble." Erick muttered.
