Two days ago we arrived in the Kingdom of Avalor with the king and queen. Today we discuss the next step on what to do. Tarrant, Stayne, and Jared were ordered by Miranda to come with us on our journey for guidance. They were reluctant, well, except Tarrant. He is excited to be going on an adventure. I just thin the others are boring and scared. They have no sense of fun.
"Please follow me to the planning room." King Rillo ordered. We followed him from the dining room with little hesitantion. We sat around a rectangle table that held a large map. Ships and people settled around certain areas, but they seemed to be a little dusty. "Now, we are here to plan your next step in the journey. Many miles from land is an island with no name. Lord Nox's great-grandfather left a letter. He told us to begin your journey, you must go to this island. He said nothing more than that I am afraid."
"We have to sail the ocean to get to this island?" Jenna asked. Remembering her fear of water and drowning, I put my left hand on her leg to calm her. She has always hated water since her uncle tried drowning her. He was insane. "How long will it take?"
"Only a week. Two if you get caught in a storm." The king informed. "The seas for the most part are calm. I'm sure it will be an easy sail for you all."
"When do we leave?" I asked."And if Jenna is to be doing anything right, she will need a different outfit." I made sure not to leave any room for arguing. King Rillo just smiled and nodded in agreement.
"We have many women in our kingdom who travel, so they have clothes that are perfect for you." Queen Marille informed us. "We are the only kingdom that lets women have more freedom."
"Cool." Jenna said.
"If you will follow me, I will get you girls better and more comfortable outfits." Standing up, we followed her out of the window.
We walked along many halls. Servants bowed and smiled happily at us. "Our kingdom is different from the others. We treat everyone as equals. Our servants get payed and are treated like family. They get days off with their family. We hate to see others suffer. We don't believe in class. Before your great-grandfathers and mothers left us, they stayed here. They wanted peace and we could give that to them. Ah, here we are."
She opened double golden doors that led into a large room. Close upon close lined the wall. "The boys will be getting the same treatment. These are the best clothes we have. They are made from fine silk. Hand made from the Silki. The do the best jobs."
"Evie, you are not allowed to wear any black. The only black that is allowed is boots." Jenna gave me a firm look. I rolled my eyes but didn't argue. I know better than to argue with a fashion diva. Between her and Adrian, they are scary.
Jenna ended up picking out a flowy sky blue shirt with a white vest and pants. She put on brown boots before looking at me. I picked out a loose blood red shirt, and despite Jenna's protest, a black vest. I picked out black pants with red and yellow lining before putting on black boots. "Nevermind, black suits your ass very well."
"Jenna, quit checking out my ass." I said annoyed. Queen Marille laughed. Her eyes brightened. She walked to a set of doors and opend them. She walked in for a few before coming out with fabric.
"These are cloaks. They will protect you from any kind of weather. They won't ever tear due to some spells that have been put on them." She wrapped a navy blue cloack around Jenna with a phoenix pin. She wrapped an a dark green cloak around me, also with a phoenix pin. "Perfect."
"Oh, these are so soft." Jenna said.
We left the room. Jenna is skipping beside me, testing out her new boots. "Took you ladies long enough." Erick complained as we came closer. "They are wanting to leave now. We are walking to the docks." All the boys seemed to match. They all had black cloaks over white shirts and brown pants with brown boots. "We wanted to keep simple."
"Simple is good." Jenna said. "Good, but boring."
"Let's get going." A guard said.
The docls aren't as far from the castle as I thought. There at the docks, a large ship by the name 'Luka', stood proudly. "She is the fastest ship we have. One of our best. I wish you all good look on your journey."
We boarded the ship. The captain met us there. He looked a little too cheerful in my opinion. "My name is Captain Oakie. Odd name, I know. If there are any problems, just tell me."
"Why do I have a feeling that this little trip is going to be alot more interesting and longer than we want?" Joseph asked. No one aswered, because there wasn't a single person who disagreed.
"So...what do we do now?" Neil asked.
"Sit around and talk about nothing and everything." I said. They all gave me a look. "I could tell you about how I killed the wolf." They paled. "That's what I thought."
"Truth or dare." I looked at Jonah, unsure of the game. "We are playing truth or dare."
"I hate that game." I whined.
"Yeah, well, I'm bored." He said. Sighing, I sat down. The others followed suit. The crew and prince's looked at us like we were crazy.
"Yo, prince boys, get over here and join the game!" Jonah demanded. They looked about ready to argue, but we glared at them.
"I didn't realise how boring being at sea would be." I muttered. I crossed my arms, annoyed. "Stupid game."
"What game are you playing?" Stayne asked. He sat next to me, frowning when Jonah smirked.
"Truth or dare. We've been at sea for the last three days and I can tell you that I am bored as hell." Jonah said. "It's simple. If some one picks truth, the person must tell the truth. If you pick a dare, then trouble follows."
"Embarrassing trouble." Jenna pointed out glumly.
"I'll start." Jonah declared happily. He smirked and looked at me. "Evie, truth or dare?" He asked.
"Truth." He pouted but quickly perked up.
"Have you ever had s*x?" He asked. Stayne scrunched his nose up and Jared looked appalled at the question.
"Not willingly." I replied.
"What is that-" Cutting him off, I turned to Jenna asked,
"Truth or dare, Jenna?" Jenna paled, knowing that I ask and give the worst dares.
"Um..dare. Wait, no, I meant-" She panicked, but Jonah smirked and stopped her.
"No take backs." He sung. I sat in silence for a moment, trying to come up with a good dare.
"I dare you to tell us what you really think of Kila Roseburn from our world." I said.
"That's not something I wanted to remember. I thought she was the sexiest and big breasted woman I have ever met. I would still do her any day." Jenna said, a blush rose.
The game went on for hours. Stayne, Jared, and Tarrant could come up with nasty truths and dares. So far I have stuck to truth, not wanting any dares. I am making everyone frustrated with it. "Alright Evie, truth or dare?"
"I suppose I will go with dare now." I sighed, feeling a weight in my stomach as Adrian smirked and whispered something to Erick. Erick grinned and looked back at me.
"I dare you to choose dare for your next ten turns." He said. Glowering at him, I turned to Jared.
"Alright princely boy, truth or dare?" He paled slightly, but gained a challenging look.
"Dare." He said firmly.
"I dare you to kiss Joseph." Jared's mouth dropped and a blush over took Joseph. Jenna slapped me and I just stared them down. Hesitating, Jared leaned over and pecked Joseph's cheek. I shrugged. I never said where to kiss him.
"Truth or dare, Evie?" I looked at Jared, he know's what I have to go with, so I chose not to answe. "I need help with this one." Adrian skipped over to Jared and whispered in his ear. Jared's eyes lit up and I felt dread. I kept calm and kept a straight face. "I dare you to sit on Stayne's lap until your next dare." Mentally growling, I moved into Stayne's lap. Stayne chose to glare at his brother.
For the next thirty minutes, everyone ignored me. Finally Adrian decided to come back to me. "I am not even going to ask. You have to do a dare anyways. Do we have an isolated pantry or something on the ship, captain?"
"Sure do kid. Go under and when you get down there, do striaght. Turn right and you will find a empty pantry. We ain't go any use for it. Do what you want?" He said. I felt my stomach drop and the sudden urge to jump overboared was tempting. Adrian turned back to me with a gleeful look.
"Alright, Evie dearest." Adrian purred. I shifted in Stayne's lap, feeling slightly uncomfortable at Adrian's grin. "I dare you to go in the pantry and do that seven minutes in heaven thing, expect you;ll be in there for however long I want."
"What is that?" Stayne asked.
"Back home we would go in the closet with some one. For that certain amount of time, the couple in the closet would do very adult things." Adrian explained. "Follow me." He ordered. I stood up reluctantly. Stayne did the same after Tarrant forced them. I decided that after this, I will not be speaking to any of them for a few hours.
"I will stand at the end of the hall. You guys must do something in there or I wil know." Adrian said fiercely. I sallowed nervously. If there is anything I hate more, it's s****l activity.
Adrian opened the door and shoved us in there. I heard a object move. "Damn, he blocked the door." I muttered.
We sat there for a good ten minutes. "I hate this game." Stayne declared.
"I fully agree." I siad. I couldn't see his face, but I knew he was glaring at the door. "Adrian isn't letting us out anytime soon, you know that, right?"
"By the look on his face, I believe he will leave us down here for an hour. Revenge I assume." He growled.
"You assume right." I said. We fell into an awkward silence. I am so not going to be talking to them for the rest of the day.
"What do we do?" He asked. I bit my lip. "By your silence, I am going to assume we have to do what he wants."
"I honestly have no clue what he has in mind." I said honestly. I squeaked when two firm hands grabbed my waist and pulled me down. I am back in Stayne's lap. I felt his breath on my neck. It sent shivers down my spine.
"Then let's just go with it." He muttered. His lips went to my neck, sucking rather harshly. I gasped in shock, trying to pull away, only for him to keep a sharp hold on me. Adrian is so dead and I now hate oceans.
