Too Rich to handle

I am So excited to be home at last

My dad is really scaring me now as I was so happy a few minutes ago and now I think I am hearing wrong as I think he said that he was not going to pay for my education and that I must pay my own way. My mom has joined us now and I am so glad she is here so that I am not alone and I can find out if what my father said is real.

The fear and anxiety I am feeling right now is nothing compared to the reality of finding it's not a hoax . I am reminded that "You can't expect everything for free for the rest of your life, here sign this contract my father says and you will not loose your inheritance as well." I am beyond shocked and I turned to my mother to ask Her" what gives" She is definitely not interested in my problems as she says to my dad , has she signed yet. She then hands me.the pen and says sign here on the dotted line and here at the top of the page.

What am I signing I ask my mom and she said to me it was an indemnity form and That I shouldn't be afraid and to just sign the damn thing.

"Mommy what's going on,why must I sign this paper I don't understand did I do something wrong?." I am asking my mother.
