Three for Dessert, Please
Cat accepted our invitation immediately. She wanted to get to know this guy who had stolen my heart. I was confident if something came up, I could handle it. We left with Harry between us on each of his arms, surprising the girls who were there. We went to a little Bistro in the hotel and had Philly Cheese steak Sandwiches with soft buns and lots of steak slivers. The onions and peppers added a lot of flavor to them. We finished, and the expected moment arrived.
“Who wants some dessert?”
“What are you guys having?”
I answered, “Each other.” Cat almost choked on her iced tea.
“What?” she asked.
“We are having each other for dessert. Want some of this?”
“He knows?”
“Yes, I told him and convinced him to invite you. Want to see our suite?”
