Chapter Four
More Than a Few Surprises
The hair, makeup, and wardrobe people completed my look, and I felt nervous but excited. When the awards began, I immediately saw Harry and Cat although the bright lights were hard to see past. To my surprise, more than twenty girls, seated around my two lovers, waved at me to let me know they had everything under control. The ceremony began, the emcee introduced Angie and me as the cohosts to an excellent round of applause and the presenters began handing out awards. I had breaks when I wasn’t on stage, but Angie cleaned up on the trophies and was out there much more than I was.
