"I want to sever it because I no longer have feelings for him," I stated firmly, meeting Lucian's steel-gray eyes.
His lips curved into a subtle smile. "Then I'm relieved."
His words caught me off guard. My brow furrowed as I studied his expression. "Relieved? Were you worried I'd get in the way of your relationship with Lysander?"
Lucian's eyebrows shot up, genuine surprise flashing across his face. He leaned back against his desk, crossing his arms over his broad chest.
