Chapter 42: The Bitter Compromise (Vivian's POV) "You need to stop acting like a spoiled child," Hadrian snapped, his voice sharper than I'd ever heard it. "Just sign the damn papers!" I watched his face flush red, then pale as my words hit their mark. His jaw tightened, muscles working beneath his skin. "Only my close associates know," he insisted through gritted teeth. "Bringing you is just to appease the pack elders. Don't think I'm still hung up on you!" The audacity of this man never ceased to amaze me. After everything he'd done, he still thought he had the right to dictate terms to me. "It's your company," I replied, my patience wearing thin. "What do your business alliances have to do with me?" I crossed my arms, standing my ground despite the rage radiating from him.
