Mike Noel is exactly every girl’s dream, the kind of guy girls want. He’s a police officer and the classic good guy. One who considers his family’s opinions seriously and strives towards becoming the best person he can be.

Two people in two different places in their lives, both being pulled towards directions they don’t have intention of going through. Alexia and Mike both struggle with what they desire in life and in each other as well as what their families desire of them.

Chapter one
Alexia This is me on top of the world. I'm on my hands and knees while one of the frat boys, has my hips clutched tightly in his hands as he thrusts deep into me. It's ironic that the music in the background is about wanting to know my fantasy. This isn't it. He doesn't last much longer and he's already pulling away. Damn it. If I was a little bit sober, I'd make him come back and finished what he has started. No problem. I can do it myself. He left, who knows where, so I fell onto my back on the bed. My legs are spread open, and my fingers reaches down to get the job done. Seriously, Alexia?" Just as I'm finishing, he enters the room and says. At least he knows my name. More about me than I can say about him. I mumble the final phrase while singing it a little bit, "Should have done it for me." Satisfied and too drunk to hold my eyes open any longer, I slept off before he can say anything else. When I wake up, I was still naked and my head is pounding like there's a jack hammer grinding into my skull. F*ck, this sucks. I wipe my cruddy feeling eyes and have some sort of contentedness that I'm alone in frat-boy's room, if it's even his room to start with. My memory is hazy, so I still don't know who he is. There are no visible indications in the room either. So be it. I immediately want to clean my teeth because I feel like my mouth tastes awful. Ugh. I need to return to my home first. Praise God for wealthy parents. At least they are useful in some way. I receive free housing away from school. I start looking for my things in the room, but all I can find are my bra, thong, and shirt. I finally gave up on my pants after searching for a couple of minutes Without them, I can make it home. I learned how to sneak into and out of the house while I was in high school, and this will be no different. My mom and dad weren't against me going out, but being sneaky about it was so much more fun to me. There's always a thrill that comes with it, and when they didn't care I was leaving, I decided to pretend the stakes were higher. So I would sneak in and out of my house like I would be in serious trouble if I got caught. I can easily do that. For one, it's my house. The tricky part will be that it's broad daylight, and I'm not wearing pants. No biggie. I got this Straight shoulders and head held high, I walk out of the frat"s house, my heels dangling from two of my toes. My eyes narrowed as soon as I opened the door and I groan. damn sun. I shield my eyes with my hand and see my car parked on the side of the road. . Looks like I was smart enough to park near the building. I ranto my car, opened the small square door to the gas cap, grab my keys, and then slide into the driver's seat. See? Like an expert I should be an expert by now, not because of the amount of time I've been doing it, but because I've done it so many times. I grab a hair tie from my gear stick and lift my wavy dark red hair. I then put on my sunglasses to help with that awful sunlight before finally heading off to drive home. Now I feel like I a conqueror, one who can conquer the world. Last night wasn't a good example for my normal Saturday nights, so I'm ready to come home, wash the dirt off and brush my damn teeth. I hate Sunday mornings. I hate them. We're near a university town, for goodness sake. Why is everyone driving like old folks lounging on a lazy Sunday afternoon? Why? Probably to annoy me. I've already pointed my finger at two people walking past them. I'm such a driver that everyone hates I don't know how it happened. After about ten minutes drive, I heard the worst and most annoying sound in the world. Police sirens Damn cop. Great. Just what I need this morning. I pull over to the curb and try to get my shirt to better cover my thighs, but it's no use. Let's hope this guy likes legs and then I get away with a warning. He's getting out of his car, so I roll down the window as he approaches me. With my sexy smile, I sweetly say, "Good morning, Officer." He is older than me and very attractive. His name tag reads simply: Noel. I can't see much of his hair, but I know it's brown in colour and his beard, which is a bit bushy. His gaze immediately lands on my bare legs and I swear he blushes. What kind of man blushes? I imagined. This should be a bit of a warning though. It quickly focuses on my face. "License and registration please". He demanded. "Yes sir". I lean over, probably giving him the chance to have a glance at my bare Ass while I reach into the glove compartment to search. "My driver's license is in my bag, which is in my back seat. Wait a minute,” I told him, holding up my index finger after handing him his first request. If he didn't see my ass before, he must certainly now. He clears his throat as he looks at the driver's license I gave him. ‘Aren't you dressed? My shoulders rise and fall on the mat like it's no big deal. "I was staying at a friend's house and I lost my jeans. I'm tired of searching. Aren't you a little too young to be a cop?" I asked him I almost assume this upsets him, but he just laughs and gets back to work . "Do you know why I stopped you?" "Obviously I did something I shouldn't have done. Will you give me a speeding ticket or something? " I consciously pull the corner of my lower lip between my teeth. The boys love it when I bite my lips.. "Unless you have a better idea of what to do with me?" I ask hopefully. "Ma'am," he begins, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks, but my large mouth decides to cut it off. "Woman? Am I over fifty? My headache worsened and I decide to give in. “Just give me my ticket. How fast was I going anyway. Apparently, that wasn't a nice thing to say to him. His eyes narrowed, his lips a flat line. “Seeing how you're already having a terrible day and pants-less morning, I was going to give you a warning. But since you are obviously hungover, even though you haven’t reach the legal drinking age, and since you asked for a ticket, I'll surely give it to you. Stay put.” And then he returns back to his car. What? Can this morning get any worse than this? I hope not. I wait rather patiently for Officer Noel to return with my ticket, a rock song about American boys playing quietly on the radio. When he returns, he hands the piece of paper to me with a gleaming smile. “Here you go, Ms. Scot. Ensure you stay out of trouble, Okay I glare at him before looking at my ticket to see how fast I was going. 70 in a 50. “Can I go now?” “Certainly. Have a nice day.” He said to me “Whatever,” I mumble as he walks back to his car. With a sigh, I toss my violation into the back seat. and drove home once and for all. The first thing I do is go to the bathroom for a shower. Stray pieces of my hair are sticking out, and I look terrible to say the least. No wonder officer Noel didn't let me off easy, even with a look at my ass. One measly ticket to tarnish my previously spotless driving record. I can deal with it. I'm sure once my mom and dad find out, they'll surely add speeding maniac to my list of traits that further disappoint them. In a spur of moment, I decided that I don't want a shower, but a bubble bath. I needed to chill for a bit and put worries aside for the moment. While the tub is filling with water and bubbles begin to form, I plug my phone into my speaker system, open it to my playlist, and hit shuffle before undressing. The water is in perfect temperature as I submerge my body. This is what I need to cure my hangover, my bad morning, and fleeting memories of a hot cop who turned out to be an ass. Sundays are my lazy days, so this bath is the perfect way to re-start my morning. I'll just hang out here, rejuvenate, and I'll be ready for the new school week tomorrow. I'm wrinkly and almost falling asleep to the sound of a deep voice singing about slow kisses when my best friend, Patricia, barges into my bathroom. “Thank goodness you're in the tub,” she says with relief as she puts the toilet seat down and sits on it. “Why are you in my apartment and in my bathroom?” I close my eyes again, not caring in the least that she's in here right now. I need to talk to you about something important. You gave me a key, so here I am. I know today is your alone day “Well, it's not like my day has gone as planned so far. What's up?” I asked She went straight to complain about her boyfriend. Tricia suspects he's cheating, and she needed my assistant to spy on him. She begins to tell me her elaborate plan of how she intend we achieve that.. It makes me wonder how long she's thought he was cheating. “So what’s your take babe? She asked I peek an eye open. Tricia looks nervous, probably thinking I'm going to turn her down. “Why are you with him if you can’t trust him? What's the point?” Tricia frowns. “It's not that I don't trust him. I'm a little insecure, I guess.” That makes me feel bad. “Sure, I'll go with you. What are friends for? Let me know when, and I'll be there.” “Thanks, Alexia. I better go. See you later.” She's ruined my bath , though. I drain the water and then take a shower. I spend the rest of my day relaxing with a little homework mixed in. My mind wanders to my parents. They are probably at church. If I walked on the same side of the street in front of a church, I would probably catch on fire. Religion and I don't really get along. My mom and dad have always tried to force it on me and being the little rebel that I am, I dug my heels in, full force. I rather leave that aspect of life alone until I want to deal with it and discover just what I do believe. Back to my parents, we haven't spoken for a month. They've called, but I haven't answered. College has freed me of them and the massive failure that I am every time they see me. But that's not what today is about. Today is for me to relax, and that's just what I'm going to do.
