The car ride home was silent. Even more silent was the walk down the corridor all the way to the penthouse apartment where they are staying in. As soon as Giovanni unlocked the door to their apartment, Ava stomped past him, kicked her shoes off in the living room and marched straight to her room where she made a point of slamming the door harshly that it rattled in its hinges.
