Zane sat in the back of the kayak and watched the tension in Kristen’s shoulders. He hated that his guest put her on edge so much. He didn’t like the woman’s holier-than-thou attitude either, but he wasn’t going to let it ruin his day. Obviously, Kristen didn’t feel the same way. Zane tried to talk to her and flirt with her like he always did, but she barely spoke to him. He guided the group a little ways away from the dock, staying on the south end of the lake.
