The Gem

Chapter 13

When the man took Jacey and left the building. The assassin came down from where he was. He walked over to the suitcase on the floor. When he was about to reach the suitcase, the assassin heard the ticking of a bomb from the suitcase. He quickly shifted to the second floor again. He saw the guy who had taken Jacey away, making a shady deal with some person outside. He wanted to know what the deal was about, so he placed something in his ear, which could increase the sound produced by things far away.

When he wore it, he heard the guy who had taken Jacey away say," Boss, I have what you want. I hope you brought all the money in cash." When the assassin heard what was being said, he knew that Jacey would definitely get hurt if he allowed the man to take her. He did not want to interfere though but he still did not want to leave Jacey in the hands of the man and his men as it seemed that the plan for Jacey had changed immediately the man had taken her out of the building.

The assassin still decided to intervene in order to save Jacey. He ran from where he was standing all the way to the ground floor. He opened the door at the front of the building very loudly so as to serve as a distraction. The man's workers noticed the door was opened, so a few of them stood back with their guns pointed at the door while the remaining slowly approached the opened door. They did not quickly ran to the door as they were afraid that the assassin would be waiting to ambush them. When the men finally reached the door, they saw no one near the door, so they decided to lower their guns. When the guy saw that they had reached the door, he jumped down from where he was to where the bad man or the boss was standing.

Since the boss happened to be experienced in the field of assassination, he heard the assassin immediately he landed from where he was. He also did not fear the assassin as he knew that he could beat him. Although his workers knew that he could beat the assassin up, they still ran towards the assassin with their guns pointed at him. The assassin had no fear as he knew that he could take all of them out. The boss just stood on the sidelines watching what was going on. As his men were approaching the assassin, he ran so fast that he could no longer be seen by the human eye. It seemed as though he had vanished into thin air. He started taking them out one by one. He started from the back as he knew that happened to be their weakest point and biggest flaw.

When he reached the guy at the back, he tapped him on the shoulder as he wanted to have a little fun with the guy before taking him out. The guy turned around as he was tapped by the assassin, but he was punched in the face at a very fast speed that he did not even see it headed his way. After receiving the punch, the guy was thrown to the ground by the impact of the punch. The men at the front heard the sound of the man falling down onto the floor, so they turned around and immediately started shooting. The assassin was fast enough to dodge all the bullets that came his way, so he did just that in less than a minute. The men were so angry at the assassin for wasting all their bullets and being a nuisance to them, so they put in much more ammo to get the job done. These were not normal bullets or guns as the bullets could move faster than any other bullets ever made by man. The guns had the ability to produce explosive bullets, and this made it a very dangerous gun. If one bullet were to touch the assassin, the assassin would be blown to smithereens. He knew that so he ran faster than the bullet could move. He punched so many of them in the stomach and the face. The men then used their abilities to attack the assassin as they were gifted as well. One used his speed to ran behind the assassin faster than the assassin could see or so he thought. The assassin caught the leg of the other guy while it was in mid-air and threw the guy into a box nearby. The strength that the assassin used to throw the guy into the box broke the guy's back. He passed out immediately after he was thrown. The assassin did the same to the remaining men apart from the boss himself.

After he had finished beating the men up, the boss stood in the corner and was still watching him. The assassin ran at full speed towards the boss and use his full strength to throw a punch at him but the boss caught the punch effortlessly and punched the assassin in the face which sent him flying. The strength of the boss was unbelievable. The assassin did not know what to do as it seemed as though the boss was both stronger and faster than he could ever be. He kept on trying and trying new things but the boss kept beating him. As he stood up once more and was about to run towards the boss, he heard cars and motorcycles approaching. He decided to take advantage and ran all the way to the cars and threw stones at them to attract the attentions of the drivers. He wanted them to come in between the boss and him so that he would have enough space and time to take Jacey and escape. Unfortunately for him, the drivers of the vehicles also had guns and weapons with them so they chased the assassin down with the intention of harming him. The assassin ran back to where the boss was with joy as he knew that now Jacey would definitely be saved.

When the assassin returned, the boss saw him and launched himself at him. Out of nowhere a net with immense force was thrown on the guy and sent the guy into the wall. When the assassin turned, he saw that the drivers had arrived with all their weapons. He wanted to escape the scene as soon as possible as it was about to get bloody. All of a sudden, the boss started laughing and tearing the net to remove it from his body so that he could be free. He was so strong that it was unbelievable. The assassin was still on the sidelines and did not move but was waiting for the right moment to take Jacey and go. When the drivers saw the man who was fighting the assassin, they immediately recognised him and got angry. They took all their weapons out of the cars and shared it amongst themselves as they were coming to use it.

The men packed their cars in between the assassin and the guy. They all left their cars and closed the doors behind them.
