Chapter 11 of The Gem

When he saw the assassin standing there, he started trembling with fear. He decided to overcome the fear as he had no intention of dying as a coward, so he ran toward the assassin with a knife that he had happened to remove from his pocket. He tried punching the assassin in the face, but the assassin dodged the punch and punched the suspicious looking guy so many times that he passed out.

After the guy had passed out, he tried putting everything back in its original place. He carried the extinguisher from the ground and put it back in its original place. Immediately he bent down to pick up the extinguisher from the floor, he heard the ticking of the bomb and knew that it was a bomb. He immediately identified where the bomb was as he was an expert at dealing with bombs. He ran quickly towards the bomb in order to deactivate it before it went off. The suspicious guy happened to just wake up at that moment and saw the assassin at where the bomb was in the process of deactivating it. The man got angry and pressed the button which blows up the bomb. The bomb immediately exploded as the assassin was there.

Surprisingly, all of them came out of the store perfectly fine without any injuries as the assassin used his speed to rescue both the man and the woman. He felt pitiful for the man as he was poor. He felt pitiful for the woman as her store had just been blown up by the bomb.
