Chapter 2 Of The Gem

The man was laughing so much as he watched the girl standing there all confused. He decided to stop as the girl looked angry. He asked her why she looked so serious, and she said, "Dude, who are you supposed to be? Just because I helped you does not mean I like you. So you better tell me who you are or you are not going to like me no more." Surprised at the girl's words, the man said, " I can't tell you who I am because it is a secret. I guess we have our own secret now then. By the way, this is a nice house you have here. How much will you sell it to me? ". Shocked at the guy's words, she thought a lot and ended up saying, " If I sell this house to you, how much am I going to get? Will it suffice for all my troubles and burdens? If I sell it to you, where will I live then?". The man said," What about 100,000 for this house. The compensation for your troubles will also be 100,000. You can live with the trainees at my crib and learn a few skills. It will take a long time, though. Bring your little meow over there as well. The world is not safe for vulnerable and fragile beings like you and your cat.". Upon hearing the man's words, she said, "That is a lot of money. At least in this world, it is worth much. Do you have any job openings? How am I supposed to know that you will not stab me in the back or betray me or fraud me, or just waste my very precious time? Tell me who you are by the way." The man said, "Trust me, little girl. I know more about this world than you. Remember, I am older than you. I have also lived longer on this earth. Take me for my word if you do not believe me. I will never break my promise or go against my word. Yeah, I have a few job openings for you and they generously. So are you in?". The girl then said, "What are the jobs you have in mind? Any conditions? How fast do I get paid? Will I make an honest living? When do we start?".The man said, "Follow me and find out yourself."

The girl then quickly brushed her teeth and changed and left with the man. She closed the door slowly in order not to awake the sleeping cat whose name was Meow by the way. She slowly walked behind him as she did not fully trust him yet. The man asked her how old she was. Not sure of what to do, she gave no answer and pretended as if she had not heard it. The main asked again but she still pretended not to hear it. The man asked her if she trusted him and she gave no answer. The man then said they could not work together without trusting each other. She stopped and sighed. She then asked the man why he knocked on her door. She asked if it was a test or a trick or a planned thing. The man said that it was not his plan or a test or a trick. He said that he just needed help and the girl delivered that help so it was time for her to enjoy that benefit. The guy then said that he thanked God for the girl he sent his way. After walking miles, they finally reached their destination or so she thought, but the guy asked her to stop. He then told her to walk very slowly beside him. There were lasers, alarms as well as red ants set as traps for intruders where they were going. The man told her to follow his lead. He jumped, rolled on the ground, and ran as well as a spy could. The girl was so surprised. She tried the same moves and succeeded without any difficulty. The guy stood there with his mouth open as he was just so shocked at the skills the girl possessed. He then typed a passcode into the lock with his computer or as he would say, "Broke it." He then made a dramatic entrance into the building. Countless men ran towards him with knives, machetes and daggers. A lot of men were in the background shooting at him. The girl then looked for a stone or any weapon. She found a stone and threw at one of the shooter's eyes. He screamed in pain and stopped shooting. Upon realising it worked, she kept throwing stones at the shooters. A lot of the shooters were injured in the process. She sat down tiredly.

The man punched two of the armed men. He grabbed two by the balls and pulled them and threw them onto metal containers nearby. In pain, they lay on the metal containers and did not get up again. He took a dagger and stabbed three of the men. As he was coming to throw the dagger at the last man standing, the man removed his jacket. Explosives were placed all over his chest. He then said that he was not afraid to blow up the building in which they were. The man with the dagger saw that the girl was slowly sneaking up behind the gut with the explosives. He then decided to drop the dagger upon seeing that. The girl took one of the machetes from the floor. As she approached the guy with the explosives, the guy heard her and turned. He turned so slowly that he left a slim space between the bombs on his chest. After seeing that, the girl quickly slashed the guy's chest with the machete exactly in-between the explosives on his chest. As he fell to the ground, he dropped the detonator to the explosives. Unfortunately, the detonator fell on the red button. This made the explosives explode between the girl and the man standing next to the dagger. She woke up outside the building under rubbles with a very painful headache. She saw blood all over her forehead and her face. She was struggling to breathe as stones were on her. She tried removing all the stones but was too weak at that moment. She tried wiping the blood off her forehead but the blood began to flow more and more. She passed out as she had lost too much blood. Immediately she passed out, the rubbles were lifted off of her but her pulse suddenly became so low. After seeing that, the man tried doing CPR as he did not want her to die at such a young age as she had so much talent. While doing that, the girl completely stopped breathing. The man then became scared and tried harder and harder. The girl still did not wake up. The man immediately rushed to a pharmacy nearby and bought a first aid kit. He came back to the girl with it. He removed smelling salt from the kit and passed it over the girl's nose over and over again. The girl still did not wake up. After about fifteen minutes, the girl slowly opened her eyes and began breathing again. Luckily, the girl had a sprained leg instead of a fracture but could not walk without feeling pain. The man thanked God as he had seen many people die from explosions. And since he knew the injury could have been worse, he thanked God for the sprained leg as well. He sprayed the leg in order to reduce the pain. After, he placed bandage all over the sprained area of the leg. That helped to relieve Jacey of her pain.
