Chapter 8 of The Gem

When he arrived at the sewing shop, he tried to act normal in order to avoid raising suspicion. He did not want anyone to suspect a single thing about him. He went to the sewing kit section and looked through each and every single one of the sewing kits in search of one with a lot of thread. It seemed as though he could not find a single one with a lot of thread. When he was about to leave, he ended up opening one of the sewing kits with a lot of thread. He took it and removed the money needed to buy the sewing kit. He was approaching the counter at the entrance of the sewing store when, all of a sudden, someone behaving suspiciously bumped into him.

The guy pulled out a gun from his jacket and pointed it at the assassin. The assassin did not want to make a scene, so he had to quickly take the gun from the guy's hand and he removed all the bullets from the gun and put the gun in his pocket. He walked quickly towards the counter as the girl was still losing blood. When he removed the money to pay, he realised that his money was not in his pocket. He knew that the guy had stolen it and walked back to the guy. As he approached the guy, for some reason, the guy started walking very fast towards the counter. The assassin tried to stop the guy without displaying any of his skills. He tried pulling the guy back, but he resisted.

The assassin followed the suspicious guy towards the counter. When the assassin was about to reach the counter, the suspicious looking guy slowly turned around and bumped into the assassin. The gun fell out from the assassin's pocket onto the ground. The suspicious guy put on a whole act for the woman behind the counter to persuade the woman into thinking that the assassin was the bad guy. The suspicious looking guy said," Hey, man. You do not have to do this. I have a wife and a kid at home waiting for me to return. Please, do not kill me. The woman believed in everything that the suspicious looking guy had said. The assassin then told the woman behind the counter to check the recording from the security cameras in the store on the monitor if they had some. Before she was about to check the footage, the suspicious looking guy pressed the button of a certain machine in his pocket and fixed in his own footage where it seemed as though the assassin tried to kill him using the gun. The assassin thought that he was safe as he knew that the security camera had recorded the whole scene.
