Episode Eight

"I'm so happy for you" .Mary said trying to fight back fake tears "So you are now married." Annie said making the three of them giggle.

"Guys gotta go, my husband is waiting" Peony said and they had a brief hug before she entered the car that will convey them to Daren's house.

"Sorry for the delay, I gotta tell them goodbye" Peony said and Nicky who was driving them nodded while Daren was on his phone

"Happy married life" Nicky said some minutes into the journey "It's going to be an hectic year" Peony said under her breath and signed before looking out the window.

Haven POV

I should have done something during the wedding to ruin it for her but I couldn't excuse myself cus my stupid father wanted me to watch everything. Plan A was ruined, guess I have to move to plan B.

Peony POV

Wow his house is really huge how come he's living there all alone. "Are you going to keep standing at the entrance" Daren voice brought me back into consciousness.

"Are you not supposed to carry me in? What kind of husband are you" I said and pouted but he ignored me and went upstairs, so rude.

I entered the house with my luggage. Just kidding I just brought two boxes my husband is rich so I would shop the remaining. After I settled in and got out of the ridiculous wedding dress I changed into a baggy top and bumshot before making my way to the kitchen.

Nicky POV

"So you guys are pretty much strangers" I asked "Go get a drink" he said and I guessed he was tired of me talking.

"Okay" I said and made my way to the kitchen, very annoying. I entered the kitchen and was greeted with smoke, how come I didn't perceive it. Blocking my nose I put off the gas before rushing outside

"Oh my god it got burnt" peony said rushing from the stairs. "Was it bad" she asked "You don't know how to cook?" I asked "Of course I do" she said ackwardly and then pouted. "If Daren find out you are so dead" I said and saw Daren leaning on the stairs making me chuckle, while she swallowed because of his mean look.

Do you want to burn down my house, barely a few hours and you are a pain in the neck" Daren said after minutes of silence after Nicky narrated the whole event

"What at least Nicky got there in time, besides It wasn't my fault" Peony said and Daren stared at her

"Go to your room" Daren said "Oh Young man you don't get to.." . "Go to your room" Daren said this time in a more dangerous tone.

Sensing his tone Peony made her way upstairs "okay I would take my leave" Nicky said and went out with his keys while Daren sighed.

Peony POV

I must have slept off and didn't eat anything last night and I'm really hungry, I don't really know if I should go downstairs "He must have cooled off by now" I thought and made my way out of the room.

After making sure he wasn't in the living room I made my way to the kitchen and met him preparing something. He was wearing ear pods and couldn't have heard my loud entry.

I tiptoed inside and when I got close to him I wrapped my hand around him, he went stiff for some seconds before he removed my hands and moved away from me. What's wrong with him

"Are you like allergic to touches" I asked "You were touching me inappropriately" he said "I'm your wife" I said "Not actually married" he said "But we could get to know ourselves better" I said and he went back to what he was doing

"So what are you preparing" I asked and got no comment from him, what's wrong with him one minute we are talking the other he's snubbing me

Hissing I went to the fridge and picked up some blueberries "Your kitchen is dry, mind if we go out and pick some few things" I asked and still no answer "For God's sake Daren I'm talking" I said louder this time annoyed

"No I will pass" he said "No we are going out" I said and went to put off the gas "Peony..." He started but I interrupted "No Daren listen to me, go upstairs and change into something nice you and your wife are going shopping".

Jason POV

After going to necessary procedures, I waited for Haven who was supposed to be picking me. Well it hasn't been long and I can't wait to see the look on peony face when she sees me.

Daren POV

It has been two hours now and we are still on the streets "Come after this we will be done" she said and dragged me to the male section after spending hours shopping for herself and she only bought a few things.

"I thought we were doing grocery shopping" I asked "No I could just order that" she said and I regretted following her, not like I had a choice anyway.

"This will look good on you" she said showing me a shirt "No it's too flashy" I said and returned it "Just try it would you" she said "No thank you" I said

"Please" she said and pouted and I must admit she looked really cute "Ok" I said and scratched the back of my head nervously before going to change.

Haven POV

After picking up Jason I headed to the mall cus I needed to get him some outfit for peony's eyes to feast on "I thought you were taking me home" he asked

"Yeah but you need some clothes" I said told the driver the mall I was stopping at "Why" he asked "Peony wouldn't want you back in this clothes" I said "My body would fit into anything" he said

"She's already married" I broke the news "What!?" He exclaimed "You were supposed to arrive sooner" I said "You said I could have her back once I come" he said

"Yeah you will but now your mine" I said and rubbed his chest seductively while pushing my body towards him making sure to expose my cleavages.

He closed his eyes and I took it as a clue, moving my hand down I was about to go into his pants when the driver's word stopped me "We're here" . "Oh" I said and we both alighted.

Jason POV

What on earth are we searching for, we have been here for thirty minutes and barely picked any meaningful cloth "Calm down I want you to look hot for me" she said and I rolled my eyes.
