The cool evening breeze blew Peony hair as she stepped out of the plane, using her hand to brush her hair aside she smiled
"It's so good to be here" she said excited "Catch up" Daren said and left her with all the bags
"You don't expect me to carry everything right?" She asked but he was gone, smiling devilishly she dropped Daren's bag and left with her bags
After they had been cleared, they went outside to meet peony's friends who were waiting,seeing them from afar peony abandoned her bags and rushed to hug them
"Oh My God I'm so happy to see you" peony said after the hug was broken
"You look amazing" Mary said smiling and twirled peony "so where are we hitting first" peony asked
"Aren't you guys going to head to the hotel first" Annie asked
"He could but I'm good" peony said and turned to Daren who was on his phone
"Order a ride and pick your bag I left it behind" peony said and put her bags into the car, blowing him a kiss she smiled before entering the car and they drove away
Peony POV
"Oh I've missed you guys" I said as I drank out of my drink
"So gist me, have you and Daren.... you know..." Annie asked smiling while raising her eyebrows
"Ewww Annie no God forbid, he's not my type" I said
"And Jason is your type, spare me" Mary said and I hissed
"He's handsome though, I would like to date him..yunno after you guys divorce" Annie said and I rolled my eyes
"You have a long time to wait then, 11 months" Mary said and smiled before adding "Maybe you don't have to wait, you could.... yunno start something with him now"
"If I see you near my husband you will be toast" I said frowning
"He's not your husband anyways why can't I shoot my shot" Annie said smiling
"Okay you could go out with him if you want to" I said not wanting them to win before adding "I want to go to the hotel"
"I've sent you the address" Mary said and I stood up before she added "We booked a room, that was the only available room".
"What!?, you can't do this to me" I said "It shouldn't matter he's not your type" Annie said and winked while I rolled my eyes before leaving.
Daren POV
It took me a lot of trouble getting my bag back, I spent almost an hour and it was already getting dark
I was about ordering a ride to convey me to the hotel when I realized that I didn't have the address.
I knew I shouldn't have followed that girl, picking up my phone I contemplated whether to call her and r not before finally dialing her number.
"Hello if it isn't my husband" she said as soon as she answered the call
"Send me the address of the hotel" I asked ignoring her previous statement
"Why would I want to do that" she asked "I would book a flight back to New York" I said and there was silence at the other end
"okay" she said and cut the call after before a message entered
Jason POV
"Why are we in Hawaii" I asked looking out the window of the hotel room we checked in
"Cus peony is here and I want to be closer to Daren" She said
"I think you are too obsessed with him" I said feeling irritated
"Okay let's go back to New York and let them fall in love with each other during this honeymoon" she said and I turned to face her confused
"What did you say?" I asked "Peony doesn't like Daren this is a forced marriage, they are acting like they are in love" she said
"I still don't understand why we're still here" I asked "So you can make peony yours again and I can make Daren mine" she said smiling.
Peony POV
I waited praying that he didn't go back to New York cus My Dad will make a mountain out of an ant hill.
After waiting for thirty minutes, I picked up my phone and was about to give him a call when the door opened.
"How was the journey over here" I asked in a mocking tone but he ignored me
"Hey I'm talking to you" I said raising my voice "Why are you in my room" he asked and I chuckled
"Our room my stupid friends booked a room" I said "Then go book another room" he said
"What?, you are afraid that you might not be able to control yourself" I asked "You wish" he said and scoffed
"I don't want to share a room with you either but the receptionist said that all the rooms had been booked" I said and hissed before adding "Don't you think of taking advantage of me"
"I don't have s*x with ugly people" he said and I hissed
"I'm tired that's why I'm letting you win this time" I said and went to the right side of the bed
"God let me not be on top of him tomorrow morning" I prayed silently cus I have a bad sleeping habit
Convinced that my prayers had been answered I drifted slowly into dream land.
Writer's POV
Peony opened her eyes and met herself close to Daren, her hand was on his chest
"Get your hands off me" he said and she quickly withdrew her hand while he sat upright
"Is this how you sleep, I had the worst night ever cus you were all over me" he said and added "And you were worried of me taking advantage of u"
"How would I know that you weren't the one trying to take advantage of me and made it seem like it was me" she said
"What fun would it be when you are asleep" Daren said
"You are unpredictable" she said and was about to get up when Daren dragged her back making her gasp and she landed close to him
He pulled her closer to himself and used his thumb to brush her hair aside while his face was really close to her
"W....What are you doing" she stuttered "Why don't you wait and find out" he said calmly and brought his face closer
Peony looked at him and swallowed hard, she closed her eyes and prayed silently that nothing should happen.
Seeing that he got her where he wanted her, Daren got up from the bed and chuckled making peony open her eyes
"Now that was fun" he said still chuckling "So you thought I was going to kiss you, I told you that you are not my type" he asked chuckling while peony rushed to bathroom embarrassed
Peony POV
I washed my face again hoping I could forget everything, I can't believe he embarrassed me like that
I swear that I'm going to even the score and he's going to regret ever pulling
such pranks on me
"Are you okay over there or you need a kiss" he mocked from the room
"f**k you" I shouted and screamed
