I could hear both of them talking, or rather murmuring in the distance. They thought we were all sleeping but I was wide awake, or at least, Achlys was wide awake. I was just collateral damage since I couldn't do anything but follow her lead.
As soon as Andrew had kissed me, she had pushed me back and taken the freedom she had given me without thinking twice.
I couldn't do anything but watch as she wrapped her arms around Andrew and she pulled him closer. But something about the kiss was strange. I could almost see a dark cloud moving from my mouth to his and I didn't know what that meant. But it certainly didn't make me feel any better. Something was wrong and I was sure Achlys was behind it.
