Dear Scarlet,
Hi. I’m Nikki, or Nik. Whatever you prefer. Not sure what you’d want to know about me. I’m 32, non-binary. Do you know what that is? To me, it means just not identifying with binary gender.
I work as an educational assistant. Oh, maybe you don’t know what that is either. It means I work in a classroom with students who have special needs. I’m not a teacher, but I definitely do a lot of teaching. It just tends to be more one-one-one. I always say I learn a lot more from my students than they learn from me, but I hope that isn’t strictly true. I hope we learn from each other.
Anyway, you don’t care about all that. Do you? Maybe you do. I don’t know. I’ve never written to a ghost before.
