Chapter one:The pregnant mistress
Anna walked straight through the open elevator doors and straight towards the wedding hall. When she got there, the hall was only half full and the ceremony had not started yet. So, Anna took a seat in the back row and waited for the ceremony to start.
Soon, the wedding ceremony started and Anna watched patiently as the bride got married to the groom. She was waiting for the appointed time. The time where her show would make the most impact.
“Is there anyone present in the hall who wishes for these two not to be joined together in holy matrimony? Speak now or forever hold your peace.” The priest said, his hand raised as a smile adorned his face. It was clear that he was only doing this just for formality. He waited for a couple of seconds and then cleared his throat.
“Now,” Anna thought when she saw that, this was the perfect time for her to make her appearance.
“I object to this wedding.” Anna stood up and shouted. A collective gasp of shock rushed through the entire hall as everyone turned around to face her.
With slightly shaky legs and a pained expression on her face, Anna stood up from her chair and started walking slowly towards the two married couple while caressing her large pregnant stomach.
The groom’s face was an expression of utter shock as he stared at Anna, his eyes widening as she walked closer. Anna could tell that he was wondering who she was and why she was objecting to his wedding. Anna could also tell by the glint in the bride's eyes that she was faking her shocked expression.
When Anna reached the front of the aisle, she turned around and faced the still shocked crowd. “Can anyone guess why I am objecting?” Anna asked, her expression strained as if it was causing her pain just to be able to speak, her hands pointing to her large stomach.
“Who the hell are you and why are you objecting to my wedding.” The bride shouted, her fists clenched as she glared at Anna, shock, fear and disgust could obviously be seen in her expression.
Anna nodded internally, “Good, she’s better than I expected.”
“Who am I?” Anna screamed, her eyes darting around the stunned crowd as she pointed towards the groom. “Ask this bastard. Ask him.”
The eyes of the entire hall immediately shifted towards the groom, whose shock was beginning to turn into confusion and eventually anger when he saw the accusations in the eyes of his guests.
“Who are you and what do you mean by your statement?” The groom asked with a shocked expression in his face, “I have never met you before in my life.”
“You did not say that when you were having s*x with me now did you?” Anna replied, her eyes grew wet, the crowd could tell that she was obviously about to cry, “Now you are acting like you don’t know who I am. Well you want to know who I am right? I am the mother of your child.” As Anna was saying that, she kept advancing towards the groom while screaming hysterically.
“Like I said lady. I don’t know who the f**k you are but please leave my wedding.” The groom replied, his shock was beginning to turn into anger. He glanced to his side and signaled to one of his groomsmen to take her out of his wedding.
“I won’t leave.” Anna screamed, her finger pointing straight towards the groom’s eyes “I am not stepping a foot out of here until you accept this child and the responsibility. Your responsibility.”
“Someone should please take this b***h out.” The groom said, his gaze pleading as he looked at his groomsmen who were too interested in the situation to take Anna out of the wedding.
The moment he said that, Anna’s behavior turned feral as she lunged at him and dragged the groom to the ground. The ending wedding hall dissolved into chaos when that happened as people were either trying to help the groom or trying to get into a better position to watch the fight happening.
Anna was trying to throw as much punches as she could the moment she got on top of the groom but none of them was landing. The bride reacted and tried to jump on Anna too and drag her away from the groom.
It took immense efforts from all of the groom’s men before they were able to drag the screaming hysterical woman Anna out from on top of the groom.
While all this was going on, Anna’s eyes were shifting across the hall as she tried to gauge people’s reactions to her performance. Everyone was reacting just the way she expected them to, all except a man seating in the back row of the hall. Anna immediately noticed the amused smile that he and his bodyguards were wearing. The man was wearing an obviously customized suit, he was flanked by two bodyguards who were standing behind him, their hands on their hips, they all watched with an amused smile as the hall descended into chaos.
Just as a couple of the men were dragging Anna away from the groom. Anna released a large grunt of pain and fell down dramatically. “My baby.” Anna muttered as she staggered to her feat. “I need to leave, I think our baby is hurt. We will meet at home, I need to go to the hospital and make sure that our son is okay.” She blurted out and with one last glance at the Groom and another raised finger at him. She turned around and staggered out of the wedding hall, even though Anna was going out of the hall, if anyone actually bothered to check her pace, they would have immediately noticed that she was moving far too fast for anyone who was supposed to be both injured and pregnant.
The moment Anna got out of the wedding hall, she increased her footsteps and practically ran to the elevator, she did not want anyone to catch her and hold her up. The moment Anna got into the elevator and the door closed, she stopped acting. There was no reason for her to act anymore since there was no one to watch her.
The moment she was alone, Anna breathed out a sigh of relief and then started removing her disguise, her make up was the first thing that she removed, before taking off her hair and removing the baby bump. By the time the elevator got to the ground floor. Anna was a completely different woman.
While Anna was riding down the elevator trying to rush to the ground floor, the man in the suit was doing the same. He was very intrigued by the drama he just saw and he needed to have a chat with the actress. The moment he got to the ground floor, the man looked around and spotted Anna walking out of the hotel lobby and checking her phone.
“Bring her up.” The man said as he turned towards one of his bodyguards.
Anna was walking down the hotel lobby when she felt her phone vibrate, she brought out the phone from her pocket and glanced at the screen. It was a message from her bank telling her that she had received a wire transfer from an unknown number. Looking at the money that was now present in her account, Anna smiled. That was enough money to tide her over for the next month.
Anna was still looking down at her phone when she felt a presence walk in front of her and block her. Looking up, Anna spotted one of the bodyguards of the man in the suit that she noticed earlier.
“Who are you?” Anna asked,
“Sorry about this miss, but my boss wants to meet with you.” The man said.
“And who might your boss be?” Anna asked, her eyes darting around the hall as she tried to look for a place where she could run towards.
“You would know when you meet him.” The man answered before gesturing behind Anna.
“Sorry but no, I am too busy.” Anna replied before side stepping the man and walking past him.
“You are a good actress you know that right?” The man called from behind her, “I wonder what the groom would do when he finds that out.”
Anna froze and turned around to face the man, she could understand the implications of his threats and what that would mean for both her career and her safety.
“Well carry on then, let's go meet this mysterious boss.” Anna said with a fake smile on her face.
