The New Earth

Fenris kept wandering around, learning new things about this 'new earth' the strange voice had talked about. I had a feeling it was Loki and Thor's mother Frigga, Thor was the only one I couldn't hate right now. He was of course the only one who hadn't believed in Loki's lies, and tried to reason with his father on the matter of banishing me, of course with Odin being 'king of Asgard' Thor had no say in the matter. Frigga was always kind, but was easy to manipulate and gullible even though she could see the future, she was always quick to believe his lies to only be proven wrong later on when the visions came to her.

She probably had a vision that Loki was the one truly responsible for Ragnarok, that is why she helped us. I still sont think we should trust her, Fenris told me. His opinions does matter and I don't want to trust her either. Fenris stops to take a look at a den, he takes a couple sniffs before entering. This den smells of dead pine needles and faint evergreen here and there, no signs of anything living in here recently still; Fenris takes cautious steps further into the den before laying down in the very back in the shadow of the den.

He huffs before taking a quick listen and look around before drifting off, allowing me to use his hearing to listen for any signs of danger. Even though he has been in charge for so long I still have minor functions on things, like using certain things when needed or talking with Fenris back and forth.. Although I would say I've pretty much turned into a paranoid wolf, Fenris is so jumpy and mistrusting that it scares me, I am afraid of when we will find our mate that he will treat her just the same as he always has treated other wolves or people for that matter.

I'm glad so far he has kept his distance from anything he's seen that's wolf shaped. If I let him go on like this, we may never find our mate, and I can't deal with this psycho by myself much longer..

*Later that night*

Fenris, Fenris wake up, something is out there.. I yelled mentally, Fenris opened his eyes but didn't move a muscle. If there is something out there, movement would just bring it right to us. Soon we seen two wolves appear into the cave, Fenris then noticed it was raining when they shook their fur dry and laid down at the entrance.

Maybe they'll leave after the storm calms down or passes, Fenris hoped; all we could do now is wait, as we all waited for the storm to pass by; one of the wolves kept looking back, like they expected something to come out, that something being me when I run the hell out of here. Fenris carefully watched as the two wolves sat and watched the rain pour before shifting into their human form, Fenris watched intently, making sure to watch their every single move, but to make sure he stayed still to make sure that he made no noise to hint he was there.

"Something isn't right here, I have a feeling we aren't alone," one of the men states to the other, the other man who is taller looked behind them as he intently searched to dark cave, Fenris didn't even move to breathe as he looked over us multiple times before his eyes stopped and seemed to lock onto ours, Fenris moved slowly to prepare for a fast emergency exit.

"I don't see or smell anything, but maybe you're just imagining things," he told the other man, keeping his eyes on me, making a small wink with his left eye, Fenris growled and snapped mentally, "Look it's stopped raining, we should get back to the pack; lets go" he finished as they shifted and ran out of the cave, Fenris took time to relax, but kept his guard up, when suddenly one of them came back, shifting into his human form. Fenris growled mentally once more.

"I know you're here, you're welcome anytime to the pack, I'll come back in the morning to talk. Hopefully you're still here, I'd like to have a new member.." the taller man said, turned shifted and left. Fenris was uneasy. We went to sleep, wanting nothing to do more with today than ever. I still kept my guard up and listened to anything that might be of danger to us, just as I had before. Hopefully it'd be a peaceful night for the rest of the night..
