Chapter 6When Ama emerged from the office that was the true center of her father’s domain, she saw her mother. The older wolf’s eyes were narrowed, although her general aspect was one of worry rather than anger. Ama steeled herself and approached. “Where’s Rose?” “Gone.” Ama fought an instant need to start firing off questions.
