Chapter 5Ama walked behind her escort, noticing that the place was kept up well. She’d been here before, but not within the last three years. She was delighted to see some caseworkers’ desks, abandoned at this hour, right out where the clients could come for help if they wanted it. She was also pleased to see another couple of murals, one of a cheerful looking moon over a hill and another of, well, that was unusual, wasn’t it? Another moon, but this one surrounded by bats.
