As soon as the guys left the room, I ran over to her and helped her up, taking my shirt off and passing it over for her to cover herself up.
‘Are you OK?’ Probably a stupid question to ask. Of course, she wasn’t. ‘I’m so so sorry, I wanted to help, but-’
‘It's fine’. Her voice was shaking. ‘I’m gonna run a bath’. She went to walk but collapsed. I managed to catch her before she hit the floor. I helped her over to the bed and she sat down, hissing slightly.
