As I sat on my chair, Simon came and informed me not to think too much about Joseph's fiancée.
Simon tried to engage me in a conversation, telling me about Joseph being one of the coolest bosses he has ever worked with.
"I'm telling you, Amaka. You shouldn't worry about our boss. At first, I had thought he would be smitten by you, but seeing his fiancée today, that gives me a go-ahead chance to chase after you," Simon said, smiling as he sat on his chair and spoke to me.
"Really? But I'm not interested in men. I just want to work, have money, and care for myself. Men are liars, pretenders, and cheats," I said, looking at Simon's handsome face as he sat on his office chair, too. He gasped, "Wow! Seems like you've been in a failed relationship before?"
