I laid down on the bed, pulling Rowan with me. I was worried about the toll everything had taken on him. I laid on my back and pulled him to me. He immediately put his arm around me and placed his head in the crook of my neck. He sweetly kissed the mark on my neck, sending a shiver down my spine.
"I love you," he whispered, moving his kisses up my neck toward my ear.
"I love you," I whispered back. He brought his head up, turning my chin toward him and met my lips with passion. I returned his kiss eagerly. Had it not been for Bryan snoozing on the couch in the same room I would've loved to take it further.
