Rachel was the one who pulled Rowan out. She saw his wrist was bleeding and cursed under her breath. Rowan was too stunned to speak. Silas was doubled over in pain groaning and gritting his teeth.
"Rowan! What happened? Are you ok?" Rachel cried, looking him over. She crouched down to Silas, "What's happening to you?!"
"Grace rejected me. After all these years, she finally rejected me," Silas groaned through rough breaths. "She wouldn't do that for anything! Rowan! What did you do? What did she say to you?"
