Paige The packhouse was too quiet and I wondered what was happening. My dad was gone and there wasn't anyone around to answer my questions. I even stopped by Trinity's room out of boredom. No one was around. My mom was in her room, sulking. She wasn't in the mood for anything. I decided to go for a walk. Each step felt heavier than the next. Something was going on and it was weighing down on me in a way that was unnatural. I was so deep in my thoughts that I had walked until my feet were tired. I had made it to the road, just outside of the pack café. By the time I looked up, the stranger in the jeep was approaching me slowly. I frowned. I knew I hadn't walked that far. What was he doing here? "Pretty girl." He grinned. I couldn't stop myself from blushing. He was so cute and sweet.
