As the highly anticipated wedding of Robert Beaumont, heir to the Beaumont empire, and Mark Taylor, a high school teacher, approaches, Jared Dalton, head of the Beaumont household staff, secretly plots to undermine the event. Still clinging to the delusion that he would be a better groom for Robert than Mark, Jared plans to seduce Robert on the night before the nuptials.
On the eve of the wedding, a restless Robert raids the manor kitchen for a late-night snack. Shirtless after a workout, Jared enters the kitchen, startling Robert. Alone together, Jared begins his seduction of Robert by reminding him of the one magical night they shared together in the past. Resisting Jared, Robert declares that night was a “mistake.” He emphatically states that Mark is his soulmate and his future. When Robert leaves the room, Jared vows once again to destroy the happy couple.
That night, Jared’s sleep is interrupted by a nightmare that takes him back to a night several years earlier when his boyfriend Patrick and he had a violent argument. When Patrick broke off their engagement, Jared reacted frantically by attacking Patrick and eventually killing him. Awakening from the nightmare, Jared tries to calm himself, then steps over to the wall of his bedroom. Facing the wall, Jared quietly speaks to Patrick, suggesting the wall may be the final resting place for the dead boyfriend’s body.
