I have learned so much about Dandy lately. Her mom has told me a lot of the things she used to do because I have spent so much time with them. I didn't know that Dandy used to snowboard or that she has a motorbike in the garage. A nice one as well, but apparently she just stopped doing those things after whatever happened to her.
She didn't stop playing soccer though, and paintball was something she started to do afterward, because of her cousins. So my girl was more active before, well not like she is not now, but by the sound of her mother Dandy seemed happier and enjoyed life way more before, then now.
Not that she is not happy with me, I think. She is smiling and I know that is very important since she hasn't done it until I came along. Jodie has seemed very glad and more alive the last weeks after she saw the smile on Dandy's face.
"Can you hand me that knife?" Jodi asks me and I smile as I give it to her. We two are making dinner, which is fun because Jodie is easy to follow. I hated cooking before, it might be my mom's fault, but Jodie is fun.
"Is there something else Dandy used to do?" I wonder as I cut the salad. Dandy is out with her father in the garage cleaning up, it was then I saw the black bike in there. It was a real beauty. I even asked her if we could take a trip when the winter is over, but clenched her teeth uncomfortable as she shook her head. I even pleaded, but it didn't help.
"Well, she loved playing games with Andrew. I mean those computer games, those two could play all night together." She chuckles, and I smile at her light laugh.
"What games did they play?" I wonder because that sounds fun.
"Oh, I don't know. There was a lot of shooting games." She shrugs and I grin at the thought of watching Dandy play.
"She doesn't do it anymore though. She just stopped." Jodie actually says sadly, which means only one thing. Dandy must have stopped doing after, whatever happened to her.
After helping Jodie I step into the garage where Dandy is stocking some books in a box. I look around and I smile to Dandy as she notices me. Her father is not here so I guess he must have driven some of the trash to the garbage dump.
As I stumble around through the mess I see Dandy's bike, snowboard, but then I find a well-built gaming computer. I step towards it and brush the dust off it, the screen must be in here somewhere as well. This might be so awesome that it lightens inside when you start it. I pick the heavy thing up and place it on an old table.
Dandy watch me, wondering what I am doing, but I just ignore her as I look for the last parts, the screen and the keyboard. Why would she place something so cool in here? I might have played some games before, but that was with my dad some years ago on a PlayStation. I thought it was fun. The only good thing I had with my father. We don't do it anymore though.
Ten minutes later, I have now found the last pieces to the computer. This is an expensive machine and so gorgeous. I hear Dandy find her way through the mess and stand behind me with her arms around my stomach.
"Hi." I smile at her as I lean back to kiss her cheek.
"You have so many amazing things and you just let it lie here." I say and sigh as I watch the computer.
"Can we put it back together?" I ask but shakes her head.
"Fine, I do it myself then." I mutter as I move out of her embrace, annoyed. I want to see how Dandy was before, to see how much she enjoyed these things.
First, I take the screen and keyboard up to her room, but when I take computer itself, it is a struggle. It's heavy, and now I have to step up the stairs. I sigh at the thought of going up there. I take those first steps easy, but the further I come up the harder it gets.
"Oh god." I say as I feel myself fall back, but someone catches me, which is Dandy. She pushes me back to my feet and then takes the machine out of my arms. I watch her amazed as she walks up the rest of the stairs as if it weighs nothing.
"Damn muscle girl." I mutter.
I watch Dandy in quiet as she put the computer together on her writing desk. When she is done, she turns to me. I roll my eyes as I step over to her and turn on the machine. As I said, there is an amazing red light in there.
"How can you just let this be in the garage Dandy?" I ask a little upset and she just shrugs. I move past her and sit down while she is typing in her password.
"Oh my god!" I say as I see how many games she has in this thing, but most of all she has Far Cry 4. I watch it almost drooling as I grin from ear to ear. I have always wanted to play that and she has it. I click on it and look at my girl.
"I see you on Monday, babe." I say as I sit, almost jumping in my seat with excitement. I can see that Dandy is watching me surprised for a long moment, but then shake it off before she leans down to kiss my cheek.
"Oh, no." I say as I grab her shirt and force her lips onto mine.
"I am going to play for hours." I grin and steal another kiss from her.
