19. She seems totally fine

704 Words
I am clenching my teeth as I am looking at my cousin, Ryan staring at Dandy. He has done it since he first saw her and it's annoying me to pieces. I know Dandy is stunning, but he doesn't need to watch her as if he is doodling after her. Dandy does not seem to notice as she is watching the movie that is on, but I can see it as clear as the blue sky. I want to put my hands around his throat. Then I meet Andrea's confused and curious eyes. She seems thoughtful, where she is sitting in the chair. I don't know what she is thinking, but I know what is going on in my mind and it is not pretty. I smile do Dandy as I step out of the couch. The thing I need now is a little air before I drive myself crazy. I step out onto the porch, where you can see the whole lake further down, which is frozen. The sky looks just like it did last night as well, dark with full of stars. I turn to the sound of a door opening, but it's not the person I wish it to be. It' last one, Andrea, but the look on her face seems apologetic. Almost the same way she looked at me inside. "I'm sorry." She says and not like I was confused before. "I can see how much you like Dandy, and that it's been hell with Ryan looking at her." She tells me and I was about to argue, but she interrupts me. "I'm sorry that I judge Dandy way too fast, she is actually very nice to you," Andrea smile. "And I think you should tell her how much you like her." She says as she looks inside. Where Dandy is staring at me worried. Andrea turns to me. "Does she always watch you?" She asks chuckling and that makes me laugh as well while nodding. "Yeah, she does. Dandy use her eyes and body language as words. It's kind of cute to watch, but I would do anything to hear her voice." I say with a hint of sadness. Andrea nods with sympathy. "I can understand that." "Yeah, and I still don't know why she is not talking. It confuses me and I don't feel that she trust me enough to tell me." I admit as I feel the tears want to creep out of my eyes. "I really, really like Dandy, she is amazing, but that secret thing is driving me insane." I tell my cousin and she nods the same way. "I know those rumors at school are stupid now, because, well," She looks at Dandy for a short moment. "I have only been in this cabin with her for only a day, and that made me change my mind, but still as you said, Jamie. She has something in her name." She shrugs with an unsure smile. "It might not be so bad, as we think." Andrea tells and it makes me smile. "Yeah, but it made her stop talking, so it must have been something very big." I say and worry fills my body. "It's Dandy remember, the girl that is always staring at you. I'm sure it will be fine." Andrea grin and I laugh aloud. It must be fine because I like Dandy a lot and I don't want to lose her. "Dandy really knows how to make me feel wanted, safe and most of all she accepts everything about me. She is the definition of perfection." I admit with a dreamy smile of how much I long to kiss Dandy. How much I want to lie in her warm embrace at night and that she keeps me from falling on the floor. She is just what I need. "Okay... I think you need to tell her now." Andrea says as she watches me, wrinkling her nose and that makes me laugh. "Does it bother you that I like her?" I ask mocking my cousin a little. She looks up at the sky thoughtfully but then shrugs as she shakes her head. "No, I don't think so. She seems totally fine." Andrea smiles.
