Chapter 5: Five years later
At the top floor of the Rodriguez Group, everyone was running haphazardly with files and laptops at hand. Some were seen sitting typing profusely on their laptop as thick sweat trailed down their forehead soaking their perfectly iron T-shirt.
But that was the least of their worries as the Almighty Lucian Rodriguez was sitting with a deep frown etched on his face, forehead knitted together in fury, and his lips firmly pressed together exuding the energy of an angry Lion that kept everyone at bay
“Still haven't found anything” Lucian barked at the technical team
“Not yet sir..” stuttered a middle age man in glasses. He was under so much pressure that he was sure he already had grey hairs
If it wasn't for this mysterious hacker who had taken it upon himself to frustrate all his efforts he wouldn't be sweating so much before his boss
“Sir I think you should see this…” shouted another voice across the room
Lucian rose up in all his glory and walked towards the fellow's screen. His face twisted into a deadly glare at what was displayed on the screen
“ Got you! You scumbag Daddy”
Everyone in the room shivered in fright at the change in Lucian's demeanor. They suddenly wished they had invisibility powers so they could excuse themselves from this torture
“Did you get his location”
“Yes sir. He's currently at the city's international airport” replied the same fellow from earlier
“Chris! Get the car ready this instant. I'd like to see this Lunatic that was bold enough to play such tricks on me and cause me this much loss”
Chris immediately swung into action together with a few of his bodyguards and in no time they were already at the Airport
Chris felt pity for the hacker because knowing his Boss, this hacker had just signed a death warrant
Meanwhile, in the VIP section of the city's international airport, two cute model-like children were sitting with a laptop in front of them and an airport securely placed in their ears
“Jayden don't you think we're doing too much? What if we get in trouble for sabotaging Dad's company?”

Sensing that his brother was already feeling guilty, Jayden set the laptop aside so he could talk some sense into him so he wouldn't forget the reason they were back in the country in the first place
“And let's not forget whose fault it is that our mother is always sad and cries herself to sleep everyday when she thinks no one is around”
On hearing this, all the sympathy Jayson once felt for their Dad disappeared. How could he forget how badly he hurt their mother, they stopped talking about him when they discovered how sad the conversation always left their mother.
And all of this happened because of their heartless father who not only discarded his wife but also his children
With a wicked smile etched on his face, Jayden pressed the enter button sending more virus into their father's company.
Satisfied at their handwork, they both excitedly gave each other a high five
“ And what damage has my little pumpkin caused this time around to get all excited” said an elegant woman as she stepped out of the restroom
“Nothing mummy” they answered in unison
Rhoda eyes them wearily, she knew without a doubt that these naughty dou were up to no good but she wasn't in the right frame of mind to call them out just yet
It's been five years and she was back to the place she had sworn never to return to. But what could she do when her past continually haunts her.
Sighing she playfully flicked both their foreheads as she stared at their adorable faces. They look so much like him and it makes it almost impossible to forget about him all these years
Picking up their hat, sunglasses, and mask, Rhoda took it upon herself to ensure their faces were completely covered
“What did I say about covering your faces at all times while we're here”
“We're sorry mummy we were sweating and since no one was around we thought to take a little breather” Jayden replied
“I'm sorry my babies but I'm doing it for your good. The people here can be so cruel and I don't want anything to happen to you both” Rhoda said as she placed kisses on both their foreheads
“It's okay mummy we understand,” Jayden said
With that, the trio walked out of the VIP section with their luggage but they were quickly interrupted by the commotion in the airport lobby
Several bodyguards had surrounded the premises with a few walking in front of a man.
Rhoda's heart skipped a beat, her chest tightened as her breath got stuck in her throat. It was Lucian that was surrounded by these bodyguards
She hadn't expected to encounter him so soon. Had he been informed of her return? Did he come here to finish her off like he ordered five years ago?
Rhoda tightly gripped both her children's hands and pulled them along so they could escape this monster
Just as she approached him, Lucian immediately felt a pull in his heart and he subconsciously stared at her. He couldn't explain what was happening but this woman in front of him stirred up his heart as much as his late wife Lyra did
Immediately Rhoda walked passed him, he subconsciously grabbed her hand stopping her on her track
“ Have we met before?” He asked with his eyes watching her like a hawk.
