chapter 5

the next day i got up a few minutes before eight. i straighten my wavy thick short hair and did my makeup. all i did was some eyeliner and mascara with a light lip gloss. i put on a fresh new uniform and shoes and off i went. my kitten at my heels. i went down to the dinning hall and sat at the table. i was hoping cassandra would sit with me. but as soon as i sat down at the table. i searched for her. she was seated at another table far to the left with a group of other girls. i felt....alone.

my kitten meowed at me. like it new what i was thinking. i picked him up and we just sat there. i didnt bother to look at prince julian. i didnt bother to look at anyone.

as soon as the bell rang i headed off to class. not bothering anyone. it took me about a minute but i found it.

I went to the teacher to let him know I'm new. as soon as I went in though I noticed it was my uncle who taught the class. I wanted to cry my eyes out. why did I not noticed that before.

my uncle looked up and smiled at me. i gave him a half smile back.

"Mandy how was your tour yesterday?" he asked me.

"it was good...!" i told him. he smiled then looking down. he noticed my kitten. he didnt look shocked to see him.

"well hi there....where did you come from?" he reached down to pet him. angel hissed. not at him. but at the man who came in the class room. i looked where my kitten was hissing at. prince Nicholas was there.

he whistled as he took a seat. prince julian came in after him. i looked down and my kitten was still hissing at prince nicholas. he ran off then.

"hmmm... fun cat you got there!" prince nicholas told me. i wanted to flick him the bird. but my uncle and protacol dictated not to piss off supernatural royals in this world. i was about to role my eyes. but didnt. i went to go sit in the back. the room was quiet for a few.. then other students followed in.

no one noticed me so I just put an ear plug in with my brother's fave song and put my head down. I didn't care what my uncle had to say in this class. even though it was on the supernatural

as I was nearing my third song I herd people get up i looked around prince Julian came in with his so called girlfriend. I didn't want to get up but did. he sat in the very back. we all sat down then. then my uncle started to teach again.

I snuck a peek at Julian. he was chatting with Terrance quietly. I started to wonder what his voice sound like from this distance. but ignored my thoughts

as I was about to go put my ear plug in my uncle called me. I blushed

"Mandy who is the fourth king of the dragons?"

the whole room eyes where on me. I gulped

"ummm.....king..." I blushed even deeper.

"GM instead of listening to your music pay attention to my class!" he told me frouning. people laughed.

"wow....they really let her in?"Lucy laughed and giggled at me. I put my head down.

thanks a lot uncle Steven I thought as I straightened myself and listened in.

the class settled down and then after my uncle's lecture we all got papers. it was quite for a few till I felt something hit me in the back of my head. i ignored it. but then it did it again. I looked around me. the person throwing paper balls at me was the demon prince himself. he was smiling at me as his eyes where pure black as night. then he sent me a kiss threw his fingers. I shivered.

I herd a hiss and a loud band on the a table. everyone jumped. the person who did that was prince Julian. he was pissed.

"what now brother...why u so angry? don't u have your princess? besides I claim her as mine!" prince Nicholas. he waved his hand in the air and black flame to place and was aimed at me. I ducked down in my seat praying what ever that s**t was doesn't touch me. I felt my back being touched then and long arms seround me as a shield. then nothing but pure bliss like floating on air. I looked up then side ways. there behind me was prince Julian and a gold shield surrounding us. everyone was on there feet and moved far to the side . I was in shock

"touch her again and I'll kill u!" he hissed in a calm deadly voice.

Nicholas laughed.

got up from his seat and walked I my out slamming the door behind him.

I was shacking. my uncle came rushing over and bowing low to Julian.

"your highness I'm sorry it's my nieces fault. bow down you silly girl"! my uncle said frantically. I didn't say anything all I could think about was I was about to be marked by the devil incarnated. he wanted me as a girlfriend.

I shook myself out and just boweed down to him.

Lucy was in shock like the rest of the class. me I wanted out of the spot light.

prince Julian moved his arms away from me and the shield disappeared.

then with out a word he walked away with the rest of the princes,'s and Lucy on his heels

my uncle looked pissed like it was my fault

the bell wrang at that moment. everyone walked out including me with my head in a mess i didn't want to go to the next class because of it. all I wanted to do was stay in my room and never come out. people started at me and whispered. yep. there goes my quite life at this academy.
