Chapter 2

As Patrick went inside to get them some drinks, he first went to his room to put on a singlet top and cover his bare chest, assuming that was probably why Tina didn't want to look at him or speak to him. After putting on his singlet top, Patrick stepped out of his bedroom and went to his kitchen fridge to get them some drinks. When he returned to the parlor to serve the drinks, Patrick noticed that Tina was no longer there. Only Prisca sat on his blue couch, stretching her long slender legs seductively as she stared at him. Patrick frowned as he approached Prisca, who was staring at him seductively. She smiled, dropped her legs from the couch, stood up, and walked over to him to collect the two canned drinks from his hand. Patrick immediately asked Prisca, “Where's your friend Tina? Has she gone home?" “No… I don't think so. Tina went outside to wait for me because she wasn't comfortable sitting in here with me,” Prisca replied as she collected the two cold canned drinks from Patrick's hands. She said to him, “Patrick, I have told you to forget about my friend Tina. Tina doesn't like associating with guys, and yet you're still eyeing her over me. I have told you how much I love you, and yet you're still picking Tina over me. What does Tina have that I don't? Check me out now, I'm cute.” Prisca swirled around for Patrick to properly examine her body and beauty, as she was a brown-skinned lady. Patrick sighed and told her, “Look, Prisca, I do not love you, and that's the truth. It's Tina that I love, and I have always been looking for a way to meet her. Remember that I also asked you to try to bring Tina here. I really do appreciate our friendship, and I know that you've been dating several of my friends behind my back, but I kept quiet about it because I just want to meet Tina. Please try to understand me.” Prisca frowned and said, “Tina won't accept you, Patrick, and that's not why I asked her to come here. I truly love you, Patrick, please..." Prisca attempted to persuade Patrick again and tried to touch his hand to make him forget about Tina, but Patrick refused and said, “Fine. I will think about it later, but not now. Let me first find out what Tina is doing outside before she gets lost or goes missing, or strolls off to the street, as she won't know her way back home to your village." Prisca sighed and moved away for Patrick to pass as she walked back to sit on the couch, still holding the two canned drinks she had collected from him. Prisca popped open one of the canned drinks and drank from it while waiting for Sharon to arrive, as they had something important to discuss. When Patrick approached the parlor exit door to pull it open and step out, Sharon arrived from her various outings with her two best friends. She smiled sweetly at Patrick as she stepped into the living room with her friends. As Sharon was about to greet Patrick, he immediately dashed out of the house to search for Tina, leaving Sharon and her two best friends speechless. Patrick went outside and saw Tina standing beside his house exit gate, speaking to his security guard. Patrick calmly walked up to Tina and asked, “Why are you standing out here all alone?" Tina stared back at Patrick but ignored him, crossing her arms around her chest and looking away toward the slightly open exit gate, where Sharon and her two friends had just arrived. Tina's attitude clearly irritated Patrick, but he remained calm and walked closer to her, touching her folded arms. This startled Tina, who stared at him in shock and glared at him for touching her. Tina released her arms and looked at the slightly open gate, wanting to run out. But Patrick immediately caught her and pulled her back to his body, realizing her intention was to run out. “Let go of me!” Tina screamed, clearly irritated by the way Patrick was touching her as he pulled her closer to his body, sending shivers down her spine. Tina had never been with a man before. Patrick saw that Tina was indeed cute, but also stubborn, as she struggled to free herself from his grip. Tina screamed, “Prisca!!” but Prisca was still inside the house and couldn't hear her. Patrick's gate man didn't interfere as he saw them and went back into his gatehouse, shortly after locking up the gate. Patrick was still holding Tina as he inhaled her sweet scent, feeling the urge to kiss her natural pink lips, but he didn't release her yet. Tina calmed as she felt her heart beating erratically in her chest from the way Patrick held her, with her body touching his chest. Patrick wore a yellow singlet top and blue shorts, while Tina was wearing a short brown dress. Patrick said to Tina, “I know you're not happy about visiting here with your friend, but that's not why you should be behaving rudely and not respecting your seniors, just because I admire you.” Tina gulped as Patrick spoke into her left ear, his hot breath fanning the crook of her neck, giving her goosebumps. Tina said, “Let me go.” Patrick lost his sanity, inhaling Tina's sweet scent, and felt the urge to kiss her, but he controlled his arousal, feeling his arousal forming in his shorts. He replied, “Fine, I will let you go, but only if you calm down and give me a little audience. Why act so immature? Aren't you a big girl? Or is this how you truly behave? Honestly, I really do like you and I want us to be friends…” “Friends?” Tina asked, staring up at Patrick's face and meeting his dark, handsome gaze. She saw that Patrick was truly handsome, gulped, and looked away shyly. She replied, “Well, I'm sorry, but I cannot be your friend. Besides, aren't you and Prisca friends? Just leave me alone and let go of me.” Tina grew angrier, cursing why she followed Prisca to his house in the first place, knowing the type of friend Prisca was. Patrick finally released her arms and apologized, “I'm sorry.” “Sorry for what?” Tina asked Patrick, staring at him again, but he just smiled at her as he moved away and said, “Fine, but why not wait inside for Prisca to finish, since Sharon has already arrived, and the sun is too hot now for you to be standing out here alone…” Patrick turned to walk back into his house, and Tina thought about his response to her. She finally went back into the house with him, following Patrick from behind as she stared at his masculine physique. Just then, the sun went down, and the clouds began to change and gather, as if heavy rain was about to fall. The heavy wind blew a cold breeze around, and Tina got worried about the sudden change in weather. She immediately said to Prisca as she stepped into the parlor, “Prisca, let us start going home.” Prisca ignored Tina, clearly jealous after seeing Patrick go after Tina. She refused to give her any response. Patrick went back into the kitchen, while Sharon and her two friends sat discussing. Tina got angry, knowing that her mother would soon be home and her two brothers might be searching for her too. She yelled at Prisca, “What's wrong with you, Prisca?! Come, let us go home now!” Prisca sighed and stood up from the blue couch, replying to Tina, “I'm not going home yet.” “Why?” Tina asked, surprised, but Prisca didn't reply as she adjusted her black gown. Tina said, “Okay, if you're not going home yet, at least you can help me with transport fare, or tell me the directions so I can start going back to my house.” Prisca hissed and walked away from Tina without responding, heading to the corridor to use the restroom. But Tina immediately pulled Prisca back by her arm and asked, “What's wrong with you, Prisca? You brought me here, and now you're not saying anything about how we should be going back home?” Prisca yelled at her, “Just stop it, Tina! Stop it already! Yes, I brought you here with me as a friend, not for you to come here and act up or try to break my friendship with Sharon and her brother. And please, if you want to go, then go. And don't talk to me again.” Tina's jaw dropped as Prisca pushed her aside and walked away to use the restroom, leaving Tina speechless beside the corridor.
