Roxie stared blankly at the scattered papers that covered almost every inch of the table. It was virtually impossible to make sense of the scribbled words and poorly done drawings, especially when she couldn’t get her mind to focus. Lucky for her, the client had already left, and it was just Zinnia and Roxie left seated on opposite sides of the dark wood table. “Are you okay?” Zinnia’s voice suddenly cut through her thoughts, warm and gentle with concern.
