“I’m not nervous. I’m…excited.” Roxie frowned at her image on her phone’s screen, which was currently being used as a mirror. What could possibly go wrong? Roxie winced as soon as the thought crossed her mind, remembering the club and Elias. That was what could go wrong. Running into Elias again was the last thing she wanted. Roxie looked around where they stood, surrounded by crowds of people. She seriously doubted Elias would go to an aquarium, at least she hoped he didn’t. For all she knew, her ex-husband had a soft spot for fish. She snorted despite her growing unease. How had she agreed to this again?
