Lilith’s POV

My heart skipped at his sight… ‘Alpha Dragan.’ Just as I echoed, my wolf howled within me in excitement.

My eyes fixed on him as he walked into the dungeon. Even though I was terrified of his sight, there was something alluring and attractive that I can't seem to get my head from.

‘Alpha Dragan is handsome and charming. He is bodily built and has a broad chest and to top it up, he has cute lips and charming eyes… just the way I always want my man.’ Being swayed for a moment, my heart complimented him in the most adorable way.

Just by his wink, I couldn't feel my troubles anymore. For some reasons I don't know, I felt very safe by his presence in the dungeon.

“Alpha Lilith.” He smirked and came closer. He grabbed my chin and looked into my eyes as if he was about to stare into my soul.

“Your father took a person that was precious to me. Even though I ended your pack, my thirst for revenge isn't satisfied and that is the reason I have decided to kill your only surviving family… your brother.” He spoke with a rigid and tense voice. His hand tightened my chin.

My dissolved in fear and my emotions throbbed when I remembered how he destroyed my pack without a jot of mercy.

“No, No, No.. Alpha Dragan, you can't kill my only brother. I beg of you, temper justice with mercy.” I pleaded. Even my eyes reddened as my body trembled.

Alpha Dragan lessened his hand on my chin and pushed me angrily. I crashed backwards and hit my body on the ground.

‘Ash!’ I groaned in pain.

But Alpha Dragan turned his back, the reason for that I don't know.

“Your father should have thought of the aftermath before doing it.” He paused for a sec… “Alpha Lilith, you must go through the same pain I went through.”

When I heard his aggressive voice, I couldn't hold myself. I crawled to his feet and held him tightly.

“Alpha Dragan, consider that the moon goddess made me your mate. Do not kill my brother, I beg of you. You can do anything you want to me. But please, my brother is my only family. Don't let me lose him.” I pleaded aggressively.

I thought he would shake my hand off his feet. I thought he would yell at me. But he remained calm as his eyes were all over me.

He sighed inaudibly and he was silent for a moment. Suddenly, he yanked his leg out of my grip and watched me with disgust in his eyes.

“Since you are so desperate to save your brother, I think I have that one thing I want you to do for me.” He spoke with a cold demeanor. His eyes travelled over my body lustfully.

“Alpha Dragan, what do you want? I am willing to go any length.” I spoke with desperation. My heart was willing to accept any demand he brings my way.

“I want you to be my mistress.” He spoke with his muscles flexing.

I was taken aback and I shot a deadly glare at his eyes. After killing my pack and rendering my parents efforts worthless, his demand was for me to be his mistress?

I was angry and at the time pissed. I wanted to yell at him with loads of insults. But I remembered what was at stake and I just had to keep my cool.

‘For this, I am going to avenge the death of my pack. Killing just a single mate of yours shouldn't bring this matter to this except your own greed. I will accept your bidding but you are going to pay dearly.’

“Alpha Dragan, I will accept your bidding only if you promise nothing will happen to my younger brother.”

He locked his eyes with mine and he smirked. “You've got balls, Lilith. You still try to bargain with me when you are in my claws? That's commendable.” “I, Alpha Dragan give you my word.” Alpha Dragan spoke with pride.

“I, Alpha Lilith submit myself to serve as your mistress.” That one Alpha who was supposed to be my mate rejected me and made me his mistress.

“Good.” He expressed warmly and walked up to me with a stern glare. He was silent as he gazed at my body lustfully. “You are so beautiful, Lilith and there is no doubt about that. I can't love you but I think this arrangement will work perfectly.” He spoke dreadfully as his wolf growled to have me at that moment.

But Alpha Dragan controlled himself. He turned and left the dungeon.

I puffed out heavy breath from my nostrils as I withdrew backwards in harsh thoughts. The weight of the proposal I accepted out of desperation rested on my shoulders and it was difficult to carry.

I remembered how he slaughtered my people just because he lost one mate. I failed my parents and everybody in the pack by accepting this deal.

My eyes went bur as tears flowed down my cheek.

‘Alpha Dragan, for spilling the blood of my people. You will not go unpunished.’ I made that decision in my mind to take revenge just like he did to me.

While I was thoughts, the dungeons gate creaked aloud and I snapped out of the thoughts I was in.

“Lilith, you are a free woman now.” The dungeon keeper declared and I was surprised.

‘A free woman?!’ Just as I thought in my head, the gate was opened and I stepped out of the dungeon.

The doors of the dungeon was locked and I was forced to ask… “What’s happening?” My eyes enlarged.

“Alpha Dragan ordered that we release you. We will be on our way now.” The soldiers left my presence.

Left alone, I didn't know where to go because I wasn't familiar with that house.

Suddenly, a light stroke of feet on the ground started moving towards me. It was an elegant lady dressed in the most adorable clothing.

She came very close to me.

“I am Beta June and you must be, the ex Alpha Lilith. Am I right?” She shot a disgusting glare at my face as she spoke.

I looked at her from head to toe and exhaled. “Yes. I hope there is no problem?” I asked her.

“Follow me!” She ordered outright.
