My eyes opened wide as cold and sharp pain shot through me at Zac’s words.
“What do you mean by— the realm is in danger?” My eyes flew to not just him but to the rest of his brothers. And the look on their faces wasn’t helping.
But no one answered.
Jamie ran his fingers through his hair and I focused on him— because it seemed like he was the only one with some sort of sensible answers.
“Jamie?”
He met Zac’s stare and then sighed. “It’s a very complicated situation Amber. But it’s true. Everyone is in danger and we are trying to stop it. So you don’t have to worry about it.”
My brain instantly took back the idea of him being the only one capable of sensible answers. Because nothing he said just now made any sense.
“I don’t want to worry about it?” I repeated with narrowed eyes
