I was awoken by the sunlight coming through our window. I looked down at the sleeping beauty in my arms and smiled at her. I tightened my grip around her waist and nuzzled her neck, making her stir a little.
I still can’t believe that I finally have my mate and how perfect she was. This has been my dream since I got my wolf. Werewolves are very possessive and aggressive creatures that need their mates in order to feel complete and be able to control their natural instincts.
That was why I avoided falling for other she-wolfs before finding my mate, since it would have been hard to get over losing them when they found their mates and it could have gotten messy anyway. The moon goddess really knew what she was doing when she chose Ruby for me.
